Yep, that is definitely the tent insulation package we are waiting for to be released!

Can’t wait for it. And I’d love to get rid of the lame window/tailagte combo that lets in way too much air.

The door is cool, but definitely makes it so the truck can no longer be used as a truck without removing the Drifter. Seems like a great option but there will be many that still want the standard tailgate/liftgate combo!

    About halfway done...
I also think the interior side window looks different. Maybe some kind of rolling up or down screen?

It’s just the other Arctic Tern Euro window options with a built in shade/screen.

Anyone running bigger aftermarket brake kits? Looking into options and wanted to hear feedback from people that have been running them.

been running the stoptech bbk up front the last ~2-3 years and they've been great. They grab pretty good and I feel a lot better about slowing down this 3ton+ rig going down the road as well as off road. I'd recommend it if youre truck is overweight, and by having a drifter with your gear and passengers, your truck is likely close to being overweight.

Awesome! That was one of the ones I was looking at. Will be putting the Drifter as well as a steel HC rear bumper on soon and wanting to be as safe as possible (especially now that we have a newborn with us).

My truck is (somehow) ~5600 lbs with the Drifter, full size spare, bag of tools, empty bike rack, and empty Dometic fridge, sliders, and aluminum front skid.

The 6-piston StopTech BBK still lets me lock up the front wheels at 60mph when people decide to cut me off. On my 1st gen with the Drifter, I had the Tundra calipers, StopTech rotors and EBC greenstuff pads - they were great, but not as great as the 6-piston.

I'm running Remmen Rockies series pads and rotors. They aren't larger, but they are a drilled, slotted, and all around better rotor with a much better quality pad compound. I have beat the snot out of them and they have yet to fail, fade, or lose their bite. I intentionally pushed them hard a few months ago coming down the hill from Big Bear and they got hot and smelly, but never made noise or experienced any fade. I highly recommend them as a solid upgrade without the need to spend +2k on a BBK.

damn, I'm jealous! I am probably 1k heavier than you fully loaded. Been thinking about switching to aluminum skids and maybe bumpers but I still like playing in the rocks and use all my armor pretty regularly so probably not a good idea to switch yet.

Can someone with a 6' bed and a windoor take a quick video to help me get an idea of the access that it allows. Like how far towards the front of the bed can you practically reach and whatnot. Would appreciate that very much

Can't help with the video right now, but I can reach the front corners of my bed through the windoor easily (I'm 6 foot with longer arms). I store quite a few items that I access regularly in those two front corners. My wife cannot easily reach in through the windoors at all, but she's about 5'2".

How much of that (lack of) access is determined by how tall the truck is?

I don't think she could reach the corner of the bed through the windoor even with a step stool. Her arms just aren't long enough. At 6', with long arms, I can reach easily. My guess is someone around 5'8" would have trouble reaching regardless of height (truck or human).

Ok, just wondering. My mom is about 5'1" and she didn't bother going in the back of my truck for anything when I had a 1st gen and a Snugtop. Mostly because the tailgate was above her waist.
