Ready to pull trigger on one one of these, but have questions that I have put up on his website multiple times that have not been answered. Perhaps someone here might enlighten me?
I have 2012 Tacoma DCLB with a Vagabond Drifter and am curious about mounting. I am assuming it fits factory mounting spots? As it obviously going to be a short rack and I have no knowledge of how many or what the distance is between the factory mounting spots, does it mount in only one of them? If so, does that make it somewhat wobbly?
Does anyone think I ought be concerned about ordering since I cannot get a reply from the public website?
Thanks for any help y’all might supply.
    Happy Trails!

Well, I have it on my 2017. Not sure if the 2012 has the factory inserts in the roof. For him not to get back to you is strange. Maybe he’s gone hunting. Your best bet might be to watch one of the Prinsu Rack videos. There are tons of them on YouTube. Than you’ll see how they are assembled and installed. Prinsu and Martin Off-Road assemble and install the same way. I have been very happy with my Martin and I’m sure if you order everything will go fine. He is a very nice guy. You might be able to contact him at @gmartin284

i have a martin vagabond drifter rack. it mounts into the factory spots, the same as prinsu or otherwise. i have a DCSB so it only uses the front mounting holes (two per side), i cant speak for your LB it may have enough room for the next mounting holes. he has another job so he isnt always able to respond, but he will get product to you, he is a good guy

I have the full rack on my 2015 Doublecab, which obviously utilizes all of the factory mounting spots. Looking at the CAD drawing he has on his website, and where the mounting tabs are located, it looks like the Camper Rack uses the front holes (2) as well as the middle (1) hole.

Excellent. Much appreciate the response. I do not recall seeing that drawing. I will have to do a bit more digging.
    Thanks!

Appreciate all you who help us late comers into the 4x4 arena. There have been a number of things I would have been unaware of and thus would have made costly mistakes without the help of this forum.

I have an RCI mid height rack and I love it. It all depends on the height that you want and preference really. Lots of racks out there to choose from. Gotta ask yourself do you want the tent to be as level as the roof of your truck will determine a lot as well.

Does anyone have good recommendations for eye bolts / tie down rings that work well with the Martin OR rack?

Very happy with mine so far!

Glad I did some research. Everyone seems to be happy and the quality looks great. Ordered mine last night. Since I have a mid height bed rack and RTT, I'm hoping the faring will blow the air over the tent and help my MPG.
