Aloha everybody, I recently installed some nova series headlights. Was kind of a pain bc i ended up blowing the low beam fuses and replacing them since i plugged them in the wrong way. Once that issue was fixed, i noticed drl wasnt working at all. I put a fuse in the drl slot and now its working fine. But recently, I noticed the drl completely turns off when i switch on the low beams. I know its supposed to be dimmer while the low beams are on. Anybody have the same problem or know what i could do to fix this issue?

    Aloha,
Since you have aftermarket headlights, that will be "normal".
The OEM Headlights DRL circuit has 3 wire; ground, DRL (High- Green), DRL (Low- Pink or Light Blue [Left & Right])
The DRL circuit High side turns OFF when low beams are selected. Leaving the DRL "Low" on. in your case it be OFF.
But you can get this to overcome that.

OR you forgot to buy/include the required converter from Alpha Rex.

The you have a bad light.
The picture shows the vehicle harness to the DRL of the OEM headlight on one side, a mating T harness with a relay in the middle, and the headlight socket to the OEM headlight.

So i’d have to connect t tap the green and blue wire together so my DRL always stays on high on the headlight socket for the drl?

If you did it that way you'd feed the blue (or PINK) tail circuit when DRL are ON. Not good.
