I think modern cars have to pass some test to prove that if they hit a person it won't kill them on the spot. Prowler will fail that for sure

I just had bad experiences with GM vehicles. And three transmissions that shat the proverbial bed at around 120k.

Rumor has it a couple of SR20 motors would fetch a HEFTY premium right before Race wars...

On the real: your co-worker is an idiot. Why the hell spend the money to mate a 2JZ to a Nissan trans when he EASILY could have picked up a RB20 and everything would have been nice and neat. Buddy of mine in college did a RB20 swap on his S13 Silvia.

Prowler and SSR were novelty vehicles. The G8 was where it’s at in those days

All this talk of BBQ yesterday made me drive to Jim N Nicks. Got a pulled pork sandwich and brisket sandwich. They were worth the hard work of driving there and waiting in the drive through for 10 mins. Way better than anything in Montana.

I asked my local BBQ place about BBQ (brisket) potato and they never heard of such a creation...so I thought it might just be a TX thing. We just buy the brisket and do it ourselves now. Gotta cook the potatoes in the oven though for like 2 hrs so takes planning

Mine turned out ok, for a first try. Took WAY longer than I’d anticipated to get to 203, I’ll start it earlier next time. And I’ll be heavier on the seasoning.

I still haven’t tried Jim and Nicks and it’s like 5 minutes from my house. Now that I have the smoker I don’t know if I will.

crank up the temp once it’s wrapped. At that point it’s about getting it done.

And i get so fucking tired of being asked by people if i "overland".

"Hey bro, thats a sick yota. Do much overlanding?"

    :duh:
