Another question, can this red wire be connected to an aux fuse panel or does it need to be connected to the engine fuse panel as shown in your instructions? Sorry for the hassle...5FCD2A9A-6288-476F-8D7A-45D7BAF7E286.jpg

The kit piggy backs off the 10A switched ignition fuse in the main fuse box. The key is the Lingenfelter needs to be powered off of a switched source.

No worries just trying to plan when I need to take some time off for the install. In the meantime letting everyone else work out the install bugs, and pass on the tips and tricks.

I was going to run power inside cab fuse box but i already used all the fuse locations (with other add a fuse's)!So i have been trying to run the power wire into the engine bay fuse box no luck! Going to drill very small hole into the side of the lid and just seal it up good!Should be ok other then it may look like crap!

If you unscrew that bolt right below the circle with the arrow in your photo and release the locking tab, that plastic part that holds the wire comes right off (just pull up after releasing the tab). Then you just remove the tape add your wire, re-tape and slide it back into place. If you want pics go to the magnuson website and view the charger install procedure. It shows this in detail on page 42 and 43.

    Here’s the link: https://www.magnusonsuperchargers.c...es/manuals/89-89-35-001_Rev.F_3.5L_Tacoma.pdf

It’s a little more work, but at least you won’t have a hole with a wire sticking out from the side of the box.

Nice thanks ! I was going to try and remove that nut and see if it would give enough to get the wire thru.

    ^^This^^
and don’t forget the spacers or else the nut will bottom out on the stud shoulder and the pulley won’t be properly secured.

Overall it’s an easy/straight forward install.

X2 after removing the fan the nuts by themselves won’t seat/bottom out now there is a larger gap to fill. I used 4 lock washers which were just the perfect thickness. Then torqued down the 4 nuts.

I have both flat and lock washer available. Is the lock washer the better option?
