Looking for $300. I can throw the jack in, but I also wouldn't mind keeping it.

That’s a great deal. Can’t swing it right now, but an awesome deal for whoever buys it

Hopefully someone in here will pick it up. I'd love to keep this thing local, it's been great for me, but next step will probably be posting in the SE Yard Sale thread.

yeah I hear that. We are getting ours ready for the market in the spring. Feels like flushing money down the proverbial toilet.

Or you screw something up and add to your project. When I painted our master bathroom we took the mirror off to paint. Dropped it on the countertop. Surprisingly the mirror didn’t break but the heavy bastard cracked a corner off our countertop. So it became paint and countertop. The new countertop didn’t line up with the plumbing underneath so then it became paint, countertop and a visit from a plumber.

I would really like to do a master bath reno and garage addition. Figure the two will run about 60k, but not fore sure. After that would be sun tubes.

It’ll all be worth it when you sell the place. Then again, in this market as long as long as it’s not falling down around them it’ll go quick.

hopefully. I still trying to talk the misses into selling and renting for a year...see what happens with the economy and set us up in a better position to jump on a house when the perfect one comes along.

Replaced serpentine belt, belt tensioner, and idler pulley on the Sequoia 5.7... the auto parts store do not carry the proper pulleys. Wasn’t a difficult job once I got the genuine Toyota parts. Definitely didn’t take the 4 hours Toyota dealership told me it requires. I’d say 90 minutes for the whole job from start to finish.

The 4-hr quote is "by the book". We get to take short cuts but I'm sure that the book has you pull the entire front end and radiator fan to gain access to the tensioner. We get to pull just the front skid and bust our knuckles up on the fan shroud. Still definitely cheaper than the dealership so I tip my hat sir.

Shops don't necessarily do the work by the book, they take short cuts too, but they still get paid book hours. Mechanics can make 2x and more than their worked hours in book hours.
