    On one hand I really really dig the side exit and want to do it myself. On the other I want to be able to be sleeper truck and just open a dump when doing pulls then go back to cruising without attracting attention.

    I know it! It took awhile to finally decide to cut it. I promise though the first time you blow fire into a slammed audis drivers window on the way past you wont care as much about sleeper mode lol

    i actually did side exit because im cutting off the bottom of the bed in the back for high clearance and id have random low hanging exhaust all by itself with no body around it. Kinda vulnerable in the rocks too. I felt limited with my off road goals in mind. Otherwise i would of liked to pipe it straight out the back bumper

    Has anyone dynod their rig with oversized tires vs stocker streets? How much difference? @Torspd i assume from your builds youve seen that kind of comparison

    Well, my truck is only 6 or so inches off the ground, so I don't have to worry about rocks really. More like leafs... but yes, the plan is to blowing past slammed and lifted everything at some point.

    I would love to put some 30” tall wide street tires on and remove the 105mph governor to really open it up. I bet @BananaMan your truck is a riot

    Well, right now it's pretty well stock minus being low as hell. (Bought it that way) Once I finish my classic car restoration I'll be able to really pile on the performance parts and get this truck moving. I'm hoping by next summer or so it'll be boosted.

    I just got my Magnaflow stainless 19275 catback system on this week. It feels great in combination with the K&N 63 series CAI and the 9drive throttle controller. It has helped to regain some of the performance i lost with 10 Ply MTs. Im happy

    Got the tip on today and reinstalled the catback. I'm hoping this does the trick, the exit is below the back bumper now which is an improvement.

    Defintey loud in the cab under load, but cruise isnt really that bad with resonator and muffler installed it was un tolerable without both installed. First exhaust was just with the flowmaster resonator and i couldnt stand to even drive to work. I dont even notice this anymore on the freeway until i pass someone

    You aren't lying. That I4 is screaming under load.

    What resonator and muffler combo do you have on it now? You also have the LCE header correct?

    **Edit** I see the Magnaflow. How long is it?

    I welded in a Vibrant Ultra quiet resonator and a something longer than 18" muffler on my friends 2TR. Otherwise, it is all straight through. His isn't as loud as yours is under load.

    Yeah, i wasn’t too impressed with the flowmaster HP2 it was claimed to be a muffler which i ran all by itself. After losing some hearing i installed the magnaflow in addition. Retrospect, i would of never bought the HP2. Wayyyy too loud. I should of gone with a traditional resonator. And i kinda wanted to try a large 50series muffler instead of magnaflow

    I know it'll cost extra, but swap in a different resonator and it should reduce the decibels a decent amount.
