Anyone else running these wheels on their 3G Tacoma? I'm curious what A/T tires can be run without rubbing, on stock 2021 TRD-OR suspension.

Anything more than 265/70 will rub

I finally met up with the seller.
I picked up a like new set (4) of the 5th gen 4runner wheels (5" back spacing), w/lugnuts and centercaps for $120.
He told me he had a tire size of 235/70-17 on these wheels, on his 2nd gen taco without issues, going off road.

    Food for thought.

Makes sense that’s a smaller (narrower) tire

I was having a difficult time understanding tire sizes, even though every time someone would ask, others answered numerous times.
The more answers said, and more questions (what tires size, what lift, poke) asked, the more dumb I felt. I let others be the obvious.
Then I found tiresize.com. All my questions regarding tires make sense now.

When time comes to lift, the info obtained here answers the rest.

I picked up a set of take offs brand new on eBay for 300 with free shipping. Was happy and now I used them for my 255 70 17 blizzaks. Truck has a 3 inch leveling kit. Might plasti dip them this summer.

They look good on that color.
Your truck doesn't look level to me.
It may be the angle of the picture?

Yeah there is a spacer in the front and a block in the back. The truck came with it from ready lift when I bought it used

    Thanks for the clarification.
I've been researching different lifts and components. I'm still confused, respectively. LOL!!

Mine is 2” lift in front 1” in back. 1.25” wheel spacers. No rubbing with Toyo A/T 285/70/17.

I like it!! Your truck looks good at that height.
Can you post a a side shot, with the front spacers, too?
    I'd love to see more!!
