yeah mine looks different than yours. It was a lot thicker/bigger around.

 

You probably got the center feed ones you need the side feed side outlet for proper Toyota and Honda fitment. The center feed is for Ford's.

meh. Easy fix mostly.

 

Not a bad idea to keep your old pump with your spare parts just incase your new one dies on you in the middle of nowhere. Or on the side of the highway

 

You're on hard mode not just removing the bed instead. On the side of the road the only option alone might be dropping it, but at home its tons easier to just yank the bed.

 

I dropped mine. It's not fun. But would be do able on the side of the road.

Most peoples problems would be to lift it back up into the truck depend on the fluid level.

 

I honestly didn't think it was that bad to do on the side of the road. @Night Eagle @Squeaky Penguin was it?

 

I think doing the tank drop would be a ton easier if you had done it the bed off way at least once before since breaking free the wiring and two of the hoses is really tough the first time. Also I disagree on removing the bed difficulty. It's a solid 15mins with an impact and an engine crane. Last time I even did it with the tent on and the bedslide in.

 

Lags in your ceiling and a few pulleys. I managed to pull mine off by myself like that.

I drop the front first and loosen the strap all the way. That should give you enough access to unplug things.

 

Honestly it wasn't that bad at all and that was a full tank of gas wasn't it? I mean a garage would be nicer.

 

Yours didn't die it just wasn't plugged in.

 

Amen to that. The first gen LCA bolts suck. 2nd gen it is the UCA through bolt.

 

Got one all boxed up with the urd 7th injector kit IF you decide to do it. Think it has 25-30,000 miles on it.

 

Ya I need to message my driver fender some more. Was playing with it just yesterday.

 

It's not going anywhere soon, so it will probably be here. Too much to do in the coming months to mess with it
