When I see what others have gone/are going through just to get their grab handles, I guess I won't complain about an incorrect size clip nut.

    Wowsa what a fiasco, huh?

She's using offshore suppliers without any QA on her end. That's the problem.

From the pictures posted in her IG feed, the A-pillar trim panel and grab handle are shipped to her in bulk in separate cartons. She then stuffs a trim panel, a handle, and a hardware kit in a custom-printed box and sends it out. There should be at least a visual inspection during the boxing process.

BTW there are many companies in North America doing little hardware baggie kits at reasonable prices. Think about mudflaps or any piece of furniture you buy. That shouldn't have been outsourced to China.

Agreed. I don’t sit in the back and my kid isn’t going to be tall enough to reach it for like 12 years. Which is actually the timeline I’d likely see it anyway.

New member PVHOBO here with a first reply/remark/opinion.

I did some research on here about a driver's side grab handle for my wife's '16 Tacoma.
With a lift and 33' tires, she was having issues getting in since her knee replacement.
I came across a post for the grab handle offered by KTJO4X4.
I contacted Katie and got an Immediate reply.
She took my info and I was placed on the list.
I checked the web site regularly and followed the info provided.
January came and I received an email from Katie wanting to confirm my order and my shipping address.
I received the Grab Handle and parts soon after.
I checked all the parts that came in the package and confirmed every thing was there along with the proper color.
I removed my A pillar cover and installed my new handle in less than 30 min.
It actually matched my truck pass. side handle surprisingly well considering they were made in --------------!
By looking at this handle you would never know it was an aftermarket product.
My wife is very happy with this product, as am I.

While I am a lover of American made, it takes a lot of guts and good design to set this up and have it turn out the way it did and make MOST people happy.
The cost and the time waited was well worth it.
My hats off to Katie and her team to get this done for all of us who wanted this.

BMXtaco I could see why you would come to this conclusion me being a new member.
Built a few rock trucks in the last 30 yrs, so have had my share of pluses and minuses, I thought I would give credit where credit is due.
It's unfortunate more of this is not done.

Lmao this may be the broadest spread of voting results in a poll ever on TW. I still have her tailgate lock and it works great but what a cluster **** now. Just curious- I feel as though the OEM pillar already takes up so much visibility out of an important area- are these worse visibility wise?

Where I have my seat, I feel like it’s effectively no different in terms of visibility. I don’t notice it having any impact.

Wouldn't be too odd though. There were a lot of new members here whose first post was about stating their dissatisfaction and frustration with KTJO.
Also the latest hot topic now, with all the latest info, be it good or bad, regarding her and her products.

MSGS350-Couple more pics of my current taco added for you
I read so many bad things about KTJO.
When I get a product that works great, looks great and is price worthy, I think it's fair to give positive input.
I had a couple issues with contact.
Every company has their down falls.

She has a long standing communication issue. One of the many reasons on why she was banned across TW, TF and T4R forums.

Gotcha, I have never been on those sites.
I just feel for the small American companies out there.
I see why yall went for the jugular.
