It's just my downpipe that actually hits, not much I can do besides throw some more exhaust wrap around it but then I need to buy a whole 'nother one and don't feel like doing that for the 1" I need...

May as well update this a little:

    1. Get alignment - coming on Friday
    2. Fix steering clicking - has gone away/very rare (i.e. run it until something else happens)
    3. Fix rear clunk - still there, found out it's coming from my heim joints on my rear arms, still figuring out how to fix it. Any ideas would be nice, may have to chalk it up to racecar parts make racecar noises :notsure:
    4. Purchase/install exhaust (when it's not back ordered) - installed about a month ago
    5. Re balance tires - done a few weeks ago
    6. Recheck/tighten bolts - everything seems in order, drive it until something happens
    7. Address oil leak - has stopped
    8. Check ABS light - still an issue
    9. Check Light warning light - still an issue
    10. Monitor everything - ongoing, testing highway drive on Friday after alignment
    11. Order/install 45619-14020 - should be here/installed this week

But here's some pics of the exhaust, no sound clip but it's nice and quiet still, drones a little around 2k rpm in 5th so I just go faster or downshift and it's fine. Only complaint is that now there's no cat it produces a nice odor (not surprising obviously) but sitting in traffic kinda sucks unless there is wind and parking the garage leaves the house smelling for a little. I'll be looking into a high flowing cat sometime next year.

Welp got it aligned but still needs some work, the steering rack bushings aren't really working and the rack moves a bit, so I've ordered some new ones (if these don't work I'm getting OEM). The squeaking in the rear they think it could be the sway bar end links so I've got some Battle Version on order. So once I get those I hope this thing will be a dream to drive :fingerscrossed:

Well replaced the bushings and it's actually worse :( clicking is more often so I'm back to the drawing board. Gonna swap around the 3 sets of bushings I've got and see if any of them stop the rack from moving, if not I'll see if the OEM ones work. All in all it'd be about $170 just in the steering rack bushings.......

Welp got everything solved. Had to order OEM bushings and adjust the steering bumps since I added the tie rod spacers. Threw on some new front tires since my old ones were looking rough. Waiting on a few little thing here and there. Threw on some smoked parking lenses and LEDs everywhere besides fog and head lights.

I feel that with everything I've owned besides the Land Cruiser. My most recent one shows well in pictures but up close, well I'm starting to wonder if BMW paint is just toothpaste

On my 300zx the paint around the t-tops was roasted and same right at the transition below the back hatch. It was just old, I think it was single stage too weirdly

Nothing has really been happening here. Just driving it and hearing the same squeaks and creaks but too busy to really look into it with traveling for work and all. Cleaned it up and took it to Caffeine & Octane for Supra month, never seen so many Supra's together let alone A80's . Wish I would've grabbed more pics but was running around haha

Not much happening here recently. Finally got half my order, waiting on the other half due to production

    85A259C4-785A-44D4-82D6-3C9EF3DE4764.jpg

But also was driving home and smoke/steam was coming out of the hood. Saw a bunch of coolant up near the BOV and turbo area and low coolant (obviously). Drove it again and saw coolant on top of the BOV so I took off the turbo shield (braking some tubing to go along with it :frusty: ) and found nothing.

I’ve driven it twice since and can’t find any coolant only slight smell (hope it’s just old coolant burning off) but I noticed today the temp gauge was lower than usual so I may swap in a new t-stat since it’s easy to get to and do a good flush of the system.

Any other thoughts on what to check (coolant leak or temp gauge fixes)? Fairly confident it’s not a BHG because no white smoke at the tailpipe except once (it was colder than usual and it was gone after a few minutes) plus other than the faint smell (hood is up and I’m 1.5 feet away from the turbo area) it seems fine :notsure:

Edit: parts I probably need to order
