I've been telling all my friends since he walked that after 9 of our 11 visits to the show and 6 Lombardi's that he didn't owe New England anything; that it was the other way around. So many of them are hating on him this season because he left, when it was the Patriots who didn't want to play ball. Now they're sitting out the entire post season and he's poised for a shot at a 7th trophy? Just more proof (as if we needed it) that he really is the goat.

Totally agree. How can you hate the guy after the 2 decades he gave us? The Patriots pretty much forced him out. I can't hate him for how they treated him at the end. We will NEVER see a player like him again.

Yeah really not digging TW much these days to be honest. I've got all the cool cats numbers for when the weather gets nice and we can go wheeling.

He's doing well. Heading into 5 months. Time is flying.

 

First of all, I would just like to preface that I am not a Patriots fan and never have been, but Brady has been the greatest football player that I have ever seen and will ever see in my lifetime. He has done things that I have never.....and I mean ever seen any QB or football player ever do before. His records will hold for an extremely long time if not ever be broken. Maybe if they ever move an cybernetic android into the QB position. The only thing he failed to complete was a perfect season which was once done once, and the team that did it never had a player that came close to any record that Brady holds.

 

Bill and Kraft would have fucked it up. I think Bill is way past his prime he's like 150 and Kraft is just looking for young girls to diddle while his wife rolls in her grave. Brady is chillin' in a place that will love him and respect him forever for this. New England people are cunts and shitty to anyone who isn't winning for them.

yeah. I don’t disagree. But even as someone who doesn’t give a rip about football much, you’ve gotta respect that the guy is setting records left and right at this point in his career. Oldest player doing X Y Z, most wins etc.

Mostly it’s just oldest player that matters. That statistician in me would like to measure W:L ratio, and SB appearances:years in the league ratios. Is he remarkable just because he’s able to play into his 40s or is he actually that good “per capita”.
I have no idea I’m on my phone now I can pull stats during my lunch break and actually do the math.

 

Is Brady good, yes, even probably the best playing right now.

but to keep shitting on the pats for not making the playoffs this year, just isn’t fair. This year had uncontrollable shit going on. And Cam is no Brady, not to mention the fact that Gronk came out to join Brady again.


That all being said, I have watch basically zero sports since Covid started.
