I also will take the cold and snow Black Flies are bad enough.

 

Black flies and mosquitoes are pretty miserable but they die off quick enough. Ticks are becoming more of a problem around here though.

 

I’ve been treating my lawn the last 3 years. Just can’t take a chance with grandson running around.

 

We’ve had ours done for the last two. It helps around the house, but I still have to be careful on the path to the stream out back. We went out there a few years ago to fish and got 4 ticks on us between the wife, kiddo and I. Luckily they were dog ticks but still gross.

 

If you can see them easily I was told your in pretty good shape.
It’s the little tiny bastards you can’t see.

It’s the deer ticks that are the problem as far as Lyme disease goes. Dog ticks don’t carry that but are still disgusting. I pulled one off the pup last year that was fully engorged, it looked like a kernel of corn that had legs. I usually put them in gas to kill them, then burn that to make sure they’re extra dead.

We've dealt with a few ticks like that on my better half's dog. Luckily he's still got a clean bill of health.

 

Pull em, stomp em, measure for squirting distance. Redneck competition.

 

I just got back to the hotel and found the game. It's looking good for them so far.

 

The game is sure getting spicy

 

Nice. I wonder if it's specific to departure airport. I fly in/out of LIT, DFW, and ABQ, and only 1st class gets drink service.

They hand those out as you board.
