I have an 01 3.4 with an automatic and need some advice. Every time that i come to a stop light or close to a complete stop and let go of the gas, it takes awhile for the automatic transmission to downshift to the appropriate gear. Or if i let go of the gas for a couple of seconds and slow down then press on the gas again , it takes a second or two for the tranny to jump into the correct gear. What gives?

    getting there....
any idea the last time it was serviced......transmission fluid and filter??? if you are unsure, or if it has been a while, the fluid and filter may need to be changed. kinda sounds like the filter may be getting a little clogged.
