For some reason I want a Stilleto in my collection. Not really to carry, just it's a Stilleto.

The FACT is not a Stilleto, but it has that vibe. F54E693E-9CDF-457A-9575-D4ADAAC9726B.jpg

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

Hey all, first time posting in this part of TW.

I daily a delica 4 or a gerber EAB ( I use it for stupid stuff at work all the time, like cutting wires, metal strapping, etc, nice to have a swappable blade). In the market for a new daily eventually.

    What I’m posting for though..

Probably 10 years ago my grandpa gave me a 60’s (I think, definitely not one of the new ones currently being made, date code of 21606 [hard to read, but I think that's what it says] means 1966 apparently) Puma Hunter’s Friend knife. It’s basically sat in the drawer aside from one camping trip. Any recommendations on a good oil to keep it looking nice? I had it out today and noticed a little oxidation on the sheath from the brass rivet and a little bit where the blade and hilt meet. I’d like to get that cleaned up and prevent any future damage. Thoughts? Recommendation? I'm assuming there are more dedicated oils than just throwing some hoppes or something at it?

I too recently got a saga. And it's quickly become one of my favorite pieces in my pocket. Now Im wanting a norseman but I'd like to see one in person before I commit. Wanna let me see one of yours next time our paths cross?

I don’t have any knowledge specific to oiling your knife. However, I recommend you research using Ballistol. I use it for cleaning and preserving many items, including my Swedish hatchet, its handle, and leather case. Check it out. D0EE4996-3C9B-4EEB-AC21-D63D3CD3796B.jpg

Took my kids out to Bass Pro Shop to stretch out our legs and I came across their last Benchmade 940-1601. I love the D2 steel. And of course, when my wife asked me to cut up a jalapeño I had to test out the new knife.

Man. I have 5 more 940 models on my list of knives to get. All of them where limited runs so now I just have to wait for the right price on used ones to pop up.

Thanks, looks like a decent general purpose oil. I'll give it a try!
