Not sure that works in MA... You can only do so much in MA without a license. I'd guess VT is very different and actually lets people do work on their own homes. Novel idea, right?

 

i think it's town by town, but north attleboro told me that essentially i have no recourse if someone isn't licensed, or my gc hires a sub that isn't licensed if i pull the permit

I would only do it if I knew the entire crew. I have previously worked with everyone we would use.

the bank is the bank though, and even if your inspector is fine with it, if you don’t have the money it ain’t gonna happen.

Personally, I think the best throw he had all day was that 50-yarder to Miller in the end zone with 2 seconds left on the clock to close out the first half.

 

yeah that's why we're just going to buy the land for now, so we have it. and then work on the construction loan after so we aren't rushing around. plus our zoning variance isn't official for another 30 days anyway, so we wouldn't make it in time

I sure did! Incredible throw! I also saw him throw a horrific pick under severe pressure that I would have given shit to a first year high school QB to have that ball leave his hands. A sack would have been the ideal outcome of that play. And a few wide outs with no excuse that were absolutely blown either high or low. I'm not saying he isn't an amazing QB or not the best, I'm just saying that his defense and running backs stepped up to the plate in that game big time.
