For all we know that performance tune may just be more aggressive throttle and higher shift points with gear lock.

Yeah but it could be increased timing, better VVT, along with those items you mentioned! There is generally a good amount to be had by playing with VVT, but now you start getting in to the need to monitor EGT's along with open loop fueling.

I think that timing, VVT, and the addition of water/meth injection could net 15-20 HP in these engines. We need a way to increase octane (water/meth) in order to control knock so that we can increase timing. Water/meth injection systems are about $700.00 last time I checked. You can get methanol by the gallon at the race shops. 70/30 (water/meth) is all you need for a decent octane bump.

In a pinch, when out on a trip, if you run out of water/meth, window washer fluid is about 70/30 water/meth.... People use it ALL the time.

...and the 0-10, 0-20, 0-30, and 0-40 are the same. Everything is either 2.9 or 5.8.

Looks like the polling frequency is only 2.9 seconds.

Yea, I re-did it and got 7.72 seconds.
There are 2 options. 1 for doing a 0-60 and another for 1/4 mile. I was on the 1/4 mile one trying to do a 0-60.
    That’s with 33” tires and 3” lift.

Did it give any other numbers?
    Maybe 2.57 and 5.15?

What kind of update frequency do you have with OBD Fusion, in general?

Even with TS you can run into some pretty slow rates depending upon what you are logging... like ~2 seconds.

Edit: I think the first time, you made it in two clicks; and, this time you made it in three (slightly) shorter clicks.

Not sure, I've only had it a few weeks. But there is a performance section that you press to get to this screen, then you choose between 0-60 or 1/4 mile. It automatically starts when you take off, then gives you the results. That's all I know.

Awesome. I've been running 91 on it. Just switched to reg today. My premium numbers held strong. KCLV was 25 ish. Appreciate the feedback.

Alright guys, I've ran M+W Tow tune and now running DaCruiser tune.

I'll be making a 700-800 mile round trip this weekend with a RTT mounted just a bit higher than cab, MTB on bed bars as well sticking up above cab and an empty single axle 5x14 trailer for the first 400 miles and then loaded with about 1700 lbs on the way back home.

If you guys had to recommend a tune what would it be?
I've got sliders, skids, 33 MTs, and king lift.

I'm a little concerned about the low kclv hovering around 18. I'll have to do some research and see if it's okay.

Since you've already ran da cruiser, try the MD_Cruiser. Different air tables, shift points etc. Not night and day, but different. Should do the trick.

In case you or anyone else is interested, this is my v4. It does include modifications to:
    - Spark Control - Ignition Timing Atkinson Compensation
    - D4S System - Fuel Injector Split %

They are inline with @Mooseditty17, @PapaRee, @dave82at values. ACIS High is still at 3400.

Fair warning - this is heavy on the performance side, by my estimation. When you hit the "go pedal", it goes. When you put ECT on, it goes even more. To put it another way, if MPG's are your main concern, this tune is likely not for you.

Please provide feedback on the regular fuel you're running. I'm going a long distance and only plan on using regular. However I will have my pc with me and reflash if I notice any issues.

85 octane from Costco. In Colorado we get lower octane fuel.

I generally only run 87, it’s hard to find anything lower. 93 is our premium here in the southeast as well

Hey if anyone can tell me how to get the speedo dialed in a little more accurately, I would be stoked.
I thought there was a tire size adjustment in TechStream, but I just got done looking through every parameter there, so I am assuming that the tire size parameter in VFt is where we make that change?

I have the current tune set for 15.499 to reflect my 31' tires, but my speedo is off by what I estimate to be between 6 and 10 MPH...

Anyone figured that out yet? Or have a similar problem?
