    Based on how often I anticipate using the new grill, I'm planning to do a bulk order of the Lumberjack Pellets. I'm going to keep it simple and just do the Competition Maple/Hickory/Cherry Blend. Let me know who wants in and for how many 40# bags. I have a buddy back home who wants up to 10 bags, and I will probably order up to 10 bags for myself. If you commit to X number of bags, don't bitch out on me. Venmo/Paypal preferred, but cash if fine if that's what you want to do when you pick them up. @ajohnson once I talk to the Rep, I'll ask if drop shipping to a dock is cheaper and if it is we can work that out. Tag people if you think they would be interested. I do travel back and forth to Cary/Wake Forest sometime so Raleigh people can join too if they want. I'll plan to order on Friday 1/29/21. I'll have a more firm cost once we have a total number, price goes down as we order more, and I don't know shipping cost yet, but let's say $15 a bag for now. YOU WILL ONLY PAY ACTUAL COST, I'm not making any money here obv.

    UPDATE:

    Full-ton Pricing for your Lumber Jack Pellets would be:
    $520.00 Full-ton-ton Pellets (50 40# bags, any standard variety)
    $231.00 Delivered to your location
    ---------------------------------
    $751.00 Total Delivered - $15.02/40# bag + tax (7.25%)

    So total will be $16.11 per 40# bag.

    upload_2021-1-25_8-49-48.jpg

    Confirmed:
    @Bannerman - (up to)10 bags
    Jeff(not on TW) - (up to) 10 bags
    @ajohnson - 4 bags.
    @SearArtist 10 bags
    @scottalot interested pending pricing

    This is awesome, I am out of the smoked meat game for a bit until we land at a new place...........hopefully sometime in 2021 :rofl:

    There are a couple "coming soon" listings we like, but I know they are there just to create buzz and will likely go into bid wars :(

    I’m already sitting on 260ish pounds, so I will pass for now! I go through it somewhat quickly though, so I’m in for next group buy!

    Yes, renting for now.....its OK. Apartments suck. Zero soundproofing between units. we are on top floor (level 3) in hopes of some peace and quiet, nobody above......family below us, 2 yo runs around and screams a lot, sounds like he's in in my skull.....shakes the walls. Not ideal, but its temporary :fingerscrossed:

    Will do, I'll be reaching out them this afternoon. I think for a full ton it's just under $500, which would be $10 a bag + whatever shipping ends up.

    Rarely use the pellets, only when my wood supplies run short. $20 a wheelbarrow for local cherry/hickory/oak. I'm good! :thumbsup:

    I can get a new steel drum for $60. When it’s empty I’ll just convert it to a UDS, since mine was left outside and it rusted out.

    Those heavy plastic pickle barrels would be the move, not sure if they make air tight lids for them though? At least easy to use lids.

    @SearArtist I think you had asked about the Fan running when the grill is not on, there is a way to do that on the recteq.

    "If you put the grill into test mode, you can turn the fan on and it will run until you turn it off. You do this by holding the setting button down with the power off until the display screen comes on. Then hit the power button five times to get to the fan test mode and the fan should then come on. It will stay on as long as you are on that screen. If you leave that screen the fan will shut off."

    Thanks for the tag, but I am sitting on about half a pallet of the big bags of Kingsford briquettes from the last sale at Lowe's. :bananadead:
