We decided we're going to be on the road last week of Feb regardless.

Hoping to be at least under contract before then with the house here but have already told the realtor our contractor friends will be caretakers for the house and keep things up after were gone if we're not sold and closed so he should be prepared to sell it vacant cause we're not staying. We can swing the mortgage and pay our kids some rent for the house they're letting us use when we arrive so nothing to really wait for. Feel much better after making that decision.

They're getting easier as I make my way through them and everyone of the people I've interviewed with have been cool and easy to talk to but Yeah.... My nerves can't take much more. Hopefully last one tomorrow at 8!

 

Yea, I think maybe because I created it on my work computer and that is tied to me. I need to somehow sever all links to me and use an unfamiliar device. The last time it asked me to authenticate by submitting a photo of me.

I mean I am glad FB is looking out for its users, especially kids, but all I wanted to do was reactivate my account and limit who can see it. When I created the original account over 20 years ago FB wasn't as sophisticated as it is now.

It is sketchy though that there aren't any phone numbers or email address's for someone to contact them. Well, I lie, there are phone numbers but good luck actually getting in touch with someone.

 

Good luck on the move! Hopefully the timing works out for you both and its a seamless transition from one house into another, but that's nice that you have options. Are you officially listing the house prior or do you think you'll wait to be out?

Do you think you'll have to move your stuff into storage once you get there or does your kids rental have room for everything? I think you mentioned it was an airbnb so I assume it's all furnished in the meantime.

Also, thanks for the compliment on the pantry. It doesn't look like much but I spent the better part of yesterday getting everything moved around. I'm definitely buying a few more totes and redoing some of the risers but I'm happy with the progress so far. Besides the fridge and a few baking items which will receive their own bit of a makeover, we don't keep any dry or canned food in our kitchen.

pretty sure I'm redoing them tonight. I don't ever do them this often but I'm trying new stuff and I attempted to change the color one day and that went horribly wrong and turned into this weird goopy mess and got everywhere......anyway, this was a temporary fix to be able to go out the door

Yep, had to run to the store this morning for coffee creamer and picked up a flank steak for dinner. We'll see how it turns out. I hardly ever buy this cut.
