What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I have a list of 15 mods that, once all are installed, I think I'll consider myself "Done." However, I know that once I get there I'll just see what you guys are doing on here and want to do more.
I'll never be "done".

 

Look up AirOnBoard. They have a plethora of OEM style switches for the tall and smaller switch styles.

 

Picked up some @runnin4tacos bed stiffeners.

I might cut that section out of the aluminum bracket and sand it down. Until then I installed this rubber edge trim and grommets. I’ve confirmed that it’s not rubbing at the moment but as you found out trails can get bumpy.

 

It’s nice to see all 50 stars on there... I’ve seen some of those around missing quite a few.

PS if you installing that by yourself, it’s heavy and awkward AF. Prepare to be gassed. Lol

 

I thought I was done with my ‘17 AC, then I traded up and started the process all over! It’s a sickness....

 

I installed mine by resting the skid on my chest, then slid under the truck on a creeper. I then lifted the rear to install the 2x bolts loosely. This allowed me to lift the front with one hand so I could install the front 2x bolts with my other hand.

It was a nice day in the Big Sky shop today - haven't had too many days with blue skies lately, finally upgraded the reverse light bulbs to LED - bought the LUYED 2 pack for $ 18.00 Cdn off Amazon - Install was easy-peasy and I'll find out tomorrow morning just how much brighter they actually are...

LED is on the left, stock bulb on the right.

Well I bought a white/cement/lunar grill plate from Taco Vinyl on Etsy and it looks great! Also I picked up my 265/75/R16 KO2s today and now time to install.

 

Would you mind sharing material cost and how much time this process will take? Also kinda curious of your end goal.

 

I’m doing it one handed.... I just had surgery on my left thumb. I took my time and if i had to estimate, i’d budget 8-12 hours total working time. It was about $120 in sound deadening material

 

No mods. Just took advantage of a nice Florida winter day and cleaned it up a bit

 

Thanks! I used the box that it came with. One arm and a knee to push/align and the other free hand on the bolts. Lol.
