Yeah for sure, I'm on stock gears with 33s, armor, and roof racks so i have to keep the rpms low. You run 5.29 with 35s also?

Alright cool, so still interested how your highway performance is. I'm sure it will crawl amazingly.

I’m planning to pull my diffs within the next month or so. I’ll report back with pics and reports on how she does

Quick question for you sir @singletrack_ftw . I was in the process of gathering all of the parts I need for my 12-14 inch rear shock conversion. I was going to go with a 2.0 king smoothie but then I found out that King is on a 20-24 week back order. Randy, @EatSleepTacos , told me that you went with the bilstein 7100's. 2 quick questions.
    1. How do you like them?
    2. Which valving did you end up going with? 275/78, 255/70, 185/75, 170/60?

    1. 10/10 would recomend. The 7100’s ride incredible well, smooth and planted on road, very nice shocks. Off road they’re even better. Very beefy and very long and just overall everything you’d need in a DD/crawler shock. They would probably hold up to go fast stuff too because of the RR

    2. 255/70 valving is what you want. That’s the correct valving for basically any tacoma. I did a ton of research and called Bilstein and other Bilstein vendors. 255/70 valving is correct for our trucks. That’s what I have. As I said in other thread youll need to make thicker spacers for top mount for these or add washers or something because the OD of the top eye mount are narrow on the 7100 compared to other brands. I ordered mine from wheel every weekend.

Thank you for this. I did not get the notification right away. I believe this is now what I am going with. How long are your rear brake lines? I have the +4's and I am wondering if I should go longer.....

I have the longest ones wheelers sells & things get just a little taut when I’m at full droop on a lift, I added some washers to the hard mount bracket of the brake line on the DS of the rear axle. It’s fine, and I don’t jump the truck. +4 is enough but I’d always recommend getting longer ones if you haven’t gotten any yet. You can kinda see here how everything is a little taut

those are the same ones I have, the longest that wheelers has. I see that you have the Dakars which is what I have now but I plan on upgrading to deaver u402 stage 3's I also have the block from my current bilstein 5160's which will help a little with the brake lines. Thank you for your help with this, it is very much appreciated. There is not a lot of info out there.

I cant seem to find your "chopped the wrong leaf mod" can you link it please?

Also do you need a spacer for your super bumps with that rear shock set up?

I have FULLY stuffed these and I don’t need any spacer on my superbumps with my standard Dakar leaf, and U bolt flip kit! Just enough room to spare. A small spacer wouldn’t hurt but it’s fine

What’s up dude, need your insight on brake lines and if longer ones needed. I’ve got the kings 2.5s front 2.5-3” and kings 2.5 rear paired with the Dakar heavy duty 2.75” leaf pack.

    1) Should I go longer brake lines?
    2) how long?
    3)what do you recommend?

Built 2 more chairs. These are by far my best ones yet! No exposed screws whatsoever, all of them covered up. ALSO ORDERED almost 3 gallons of Lucas 85/140 oil for my new diffs. Painted these brown for my folks. They have a lot of brown/contemporary stuff
