Lol, I just dropped like $300 at his site today because so much came back in stock recently. Finally ordered the switch panel, chrome delete and mirror turn signals.

was this covered already? the lights turn back on after a while. not 100% brightness but 25%?ish. i locked my truck and passed by the truck (without my keys) and noticed they were on but dim. got my keys, they lit up 100%, locked my truck and they were off. went back 10 minutes later and they were dimly on again, both sides.
i have the gen 2 plus switch kit. i got some dsims (originals) also tapping into the same wires in a-pillar. anyone have an idea what I'm doing/did wrong?

They come on when you approach the truck. Your factory dome lights so the same thing.

Somehow there's juice getting to the LED from somewhere. Switch or connector. And/or a bad door courtesy switch or an unlock detection switch in one of the 5 locations.

Well if the Alarm hasn't given you trouble, then the courtesy switches and unlock switches should be fine, that leaves the added MESO switch and its connector. Are the DSIM modules for the Puddles?

no. for rock light project that's not installed yet. I'll disconnect that and see if condition is still present.

Since the puddles are such low amps my guesstimate is the switch. What's the longest time you've allowed the puddles to stay "on"(25%)? Or have you just cycled the lock/unlock only?

no idea what the longest I've left them like that. ive never noticed them on like that until tonight. disconnected the ground from the switch and so far they're staying off. I'll check the switch and ground tomorrow.

I've had some sitting around for a while and not sure if they're V1 or V2 - what's the easiest way to tell, and what's the difference between the two models?

Im having issues with the Puddle light switch. The instructions included suck. The switch lights up but only works on Auto. They do not turn on manually with the On switch.

^^ Did you ground the loop terminal from the switch harness to a good chassis ground?
