Glad somebody is. I'm getting killed at work and it is most definitely un-happy hour over here.

Swapped fluids in the whole driveline (engine, auto trans, t-case, and both diffs) and greased the u-joints... and it feels like a different vehicle. I've never owned an automatic that I drove long enough to hit a service interval (I've owned manuals as DDs mostly). The transmission feels smoother, more responsive... something. It's weird. I wasn't expecting that. Recently hit 67k miles so I finally got off my butt to service it all.

Others experience this, too?

 

Ok - Here's some content for you.

When I took my daughter and her boyfriend to Red Elephant Hill last month, I actually aired down amazing as that sounds. When it was time to air back up, I pulled out my inexpensive . @Littles describes these little compressor's as cute. This compressor has been good enough for me, inflating a tire from 15 to 35 psi in under 4 minutes. Although this time it could only inflate from 14 to 25 psi. At $70 I wasn't expecting much, I've had it for a couple of seasons. So last weekend, I read the Owner's Manual, which said after about 20 uses, remove the plastic cover, turn it upside down and squirt some oil around the piston's ring.


The cute little compressor is working better than new. 25 to 40 psi in under 2 minutes!

I just ordered dual Viair 425c's for the new truck.

I think the easier it is to air up, the more inclined I'll be to air down.

 

4.8 cubic feet per minute. Nice!
I’ll just hang out at 1.3 CFM until it fails, then up my game with a 425C.

 

Same here with my cheap pittsburgh compressor. I have a high volume bicycle floor pump that I take as a backup on trips whether I have my MTB or not. It takes about 100 pumps to go from 20psi back up to 35. It's not fun, but at least I won't have to run low pressure if the pittsburgh ever dies.

Maybe you would air down more often if you could air up faster and easier.

I've been rocking a single 400 in the 1st gen for years now with zero complaints or issues.

I think Viair makes a solid product. No ARB for me.

 

I've had my 300p for about 10 years now and it's never failed me. I've been looking at the 440p for a while now just to step it up a notch but like @alee891 it's still sitting in my Amazon cart.

LOL! That's how my dogs are. They don't do well in cold weather so they suck for winter hikes.

 

Did you swap the fluid in the SC as well?

 

My Standard Poodle loves the snow and cold. She gets so excited to go out for her walks when it's snowing.
