I used flat and split washers on mine. I just made sure the stack up was as thick as the flange on the stock fan.

Install complete about 3hrs was really fairly easy. Drove it for about 20 minutes streets only. saw temps from 185 to 202. Rechecked fluids all good pumping the hose's helped to get air out of the system.
Rad3.jpg Rad4.jpg rad1.jpg Rad2.jpg Rad5.jpg Mounted controller and 80amp breaker to battery top area with double sided tape. I didnt have many options as my wiring was pre made by Meso and his setup is much different then mine.I bought his entire fan and radiator setup. Working great so far! Will take it for a longer drive tomorrow then check fluid again and check all bolts. How much tranny fluid do you think we lost? What little that came out was looking pretty dingy time for a tranny flush.

Shout out to Meso Customs, decided to use his mounts. Also mounted control on body panel next to battery. White wire goes to my Spod Bantam.

Only reason I ask is because one thing I have been thinking is making a custom shroud but those may make me not have to. Problem I am having which is not your fault btw is if I ever need to change my supercharger belt I will have to remove my fan/shroud to do so. With the larger csf radiator plus the fan arms attached to the shroud I cannot get anything in there to take my tensioner off. I will probably end up just doing a custom shroud all together but I have already thrown a dumb amount of $$ at this truck so why not some more lol.

Lol. What worries me about the mounts is the mounting tabs that use the singular studs on the inside. The outside is more than plentiful in grabbing surface but on the inside, if it had some sort of ring which went above the entire circumference of the motor to unify all of them and turn them into one big assembly I think I would be less worried about them snapping off with a jarring impact while doing something say like wheeling.

    Nylon is good and strong.

Hell, the shroud is just thin plastic.

Everyone else is probably like me and overthinking it all, but that is what makes us who we are.

Well, that is good to know. I don't have @Murphinator 's issue because I'm still running the OE radiator so to me it's more of a strength thing than anything. I'm VERY hard on my truck when I wheel, and I wouldn't want to break the fan mounts off while doing so. When I was bending the arms outward so they wouldn't strike the fan I didn't really feel comfortable doing so as I felt they would break. Granted they didn't with the help of some heat.

I'll tell you for sure I personally and I'm sure others would feel more comfortable if there was some sort of unifying ring either integrated or added on after the arms are in place to make it all one.

issue we have is it woiuld have to be a multi piece part to unify. and it already takes 25hrs to print one set.

Oy. I see the issue. :bananadead:

What if you just machined a ring out of aluminum instead? You wouldn't have to deal with the additional production time and complexities added as you already have the dimensions right there on the fan motor.
