Annnd super taco-lean fixed! I was able to get the remaining shock/coil installed after work today. Now I just have to deal with my truck looking like its draggin' ass for the next few days until I can install the new rear shocks and AAL's this weekend. :D

I only scrolled down enough to see the before picture and I thought to myself, "well that's not that great but maybe it was worse before?". Then scrolled down and saw the after  looks amazing! Great job!

I put some sandbags in the back for better traction in the rain.
Just kidding, our garage gets some water when it rains so I grabbed these for prevention.FFC9FB9C-5690-4BCB-9089-D280275C706D.jpg
If it were a snowstorm I would place them above the axle and try to secure them a little.

Gonna have to cut more with these new wheels since I have an additional 1.5” of poke. I’ll relocate the cab mount and probably just start over on the tubbing, giving myself more clearance than necessary.

Shoot, should’ve thought that through before I closed it up.

Cut and form some sheet metal and weld it on. Then seal the shit out of it with some caulk, then spray it with flex seal. I haven’t had any leaking issues.

I removed the battery, covered the alternator, fuse box and air filter with Glad cling wrap. I used masking tape to seal brake fluid cap, and other caps you can see in the picture. I also taped off some of the wiring connectors. This may be overkill however I did not want any issues when I finished.
I used a product called Super Clean all purpose cleaner along with several different size and types of detail brushes. I let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing it off. I used a hand sprayer which was a lot of trouble however I was working in my garage and not outside so I didn’t want a bigger mess than what I had, plus it may have been safer.
After touching up a few places I missed, I rinsed again and dried everything off with compressed air. Then I sprayed 303 Protectant on the rubber and plastic parts and then took it for a ride and everything worked just fine. It may be my imagination but I think it even ran better .

Your truck has been a good example of what a very capable off-road truck looks like without the need for a giant lift, even if you didn't have the front and rear clearance mods you have now. Which I feel like a lot of Hawaii's Tacoma owners don't get.
