Don't want to beat another TSB into the ground. But I did want to post a few thoughts......

I had the transmission TSB/flash done on my truck today at Toyota of Gastonia, NC. Showed the service manager the TSB and they took care of it.

Honestly it really does make a noticeable difference. A much smoother shifting truck and really the way I thought it should have been from the day I picked it up. Seems like the longer I drove it without the tranny flash/TSB the less I noticed the problem....kinda weird.

If you have not had the tranny/flash TSB done check your vin# against the TSB thats out. I found it here on the TW forum using the search mode. I don't think you will be disappointed with the results.I would highly reccomend it if your truck falls into the vin# on the TSB.
My wait time was about 35 minutes. Glad I had it done and it was totally hassle free.
They did not hack up my gas peddle either. I told the manager I did not need it trimmed and it was working just fine. ;) All in all, it was a good day.

    For what its worth.

actually, if you just take the truck in and get the reflash for the "sticky accelator pedal" they reflash the ecm with the most current version and it also updates the shifting patterns for the auto transmission.

    also it's the 0393-09 for the 2010.

Since my truck is out of warranty and has never had the reflash done, how much would something like this cost?

    Brian, welcome back bro!

The service manager first told me $89.95.....I then pointed out that my truck is a 2010........he said oh....well than its under warranty. I was like alrighty then.......here we go........Honestly $89.95 seems a bit high for a computer flash. For what its worth.......

How can you tell if your VIN is before the ones listed in the TSB?

I want to have this done, but I heard if you do it you cant get a supercharger because TRD has yet to make the S/C work properly with the reflash or the other way around probably, toyota hasnt made this reflash work properly with the S/C. I plan on doing the supercharger in the next year and dont want to mess up my ability to get one. However my warranty is almost up, so I need to decide soon.

You can do the APR X-1 with the S/C. So reflashing should be no big deal. You would be able to tune to your heart's content.
