I ordered the blue LED for the switch, it is a little darker blue then the factory ones, but it doesnt bother me. If I could dim it down a little, then the color would be more identical to the factory switches. I will try to take a picture at night, if I remember tonight.

correct. If I remember correctly, I didnt cut any of them, thats why I dont have the parking lines and it shows the exact, view, not a mirror view like it would be in reverse. Thats why I couldnt find a better "reverse" camera to use in the front, because it didnt give me the option of having an exact view, only mirror. The quality of this camera is pretty good though. I found another more pricey one (Coolint R102BF) that was next on my list to try if the one I used didnt work out, but the one I found on ebay worked like I wanted it to, so I didnt pursue getting the Coolint one. However, the ebay one is the only 180 degree, highest resolution, front view camera I could find that was reasonably priced. I looked for months......

wait, i thought cutting the wires would eliminate the lines and the mirroring of images?

I’m in the middle of this F and R camera mod. Rear works but I have questions regarding the front. I’m using the camera the OP used in their final selection.
The power from the camera, it’s one wire with one side red and one side black but they’re fused together. Not sure if this is one wire or two. See pic #1.

If it’s one then I assume this goes to fuse tap. If it’s two wires pos and neg then not sure where they go. Here’s the diagram from the camera. See circleled.

    Any help direction is appreciated...

Figure it out. Red to fuse tap, black to ground. Cutting up my faux pro grill up next. Fun project...

Just installed the anytime back & front camera install. Used the instructions on the anytimecamera website (option 1) and have both cameras working fine.

However, the OEM style SPST switches (CH4x4.com) are not lighting up (I got LED blue like stock switches). Anybody know which wire I would need to solder in order to get the switches to illuminate when activated?

First your switch panel should screw into the back side so you don’t see the screws.

Tap the green wire on the cargo switch to the Red 2 wire on the CH4x4 switches for illumination.

Got it thanks. Looks like I'll be buying another OEM plastic switch panel & remount the aftermarket switch plate from behind. That's what I get for rushing to get it mounted after a long weekend installing the SSO bumper and winch.

Thanks for confirming how to illuminate the switches. I assumed it involved the Red 2 wire but wasn't sure about which wire to tap from. Appreciate the help.

You may try filling the holes with JB weld and sanding them down first before buying a new OEM one. Or I think @mesojdm makes other cubby options

I used the same camera. I had it installed under the logo for the chrome cheese grill. I will have a photo shoot of the camera when I get home. Thanks for sharing your install which inspired me to change my 170 degree camera.
