So I had really similar experience around here (Big Moose Harley). The dealership was great. I actually went there first last March, ended up going in a different direction (Honda CB500X), then in the fall went back in and traded towards what I have now.

At first I really wanted a Street Bob or Softail Standard. Had it in my head that when a reasonable used one popped up I'd jump on it. Then I actually sat on a Street Bob and realized I hated the mini-apes. They had the Lowrider and ergonomically it felt good. Took it for a test ride and was sold.

Lots of my friends parents rode, or were in some of the more notorious clubs, hell my teammates dad was the local president of HE.

Some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. But like you said, we grew up together. But it's always hard for me to see them doing some of the things you see on tv, just can't imagine they'd do anything worse than have a beer before riding off somewhere.

Usually people start by wrapping a roof or a hood :notsure: From what I've heard, the 3M stuff is really great to work with and very forgiving!
That's true, though I think most NE people are generally rather nice. The majority of NY people are dicks, but southerners you can't get to stop talking- they're too nice!
I wanted a Dyna (edit: Low Rider S, I keep forgetting they killed the Dyna name lol) but I couldn't justify the cost. Almost double the price of my Iron 1200. And I actually love the 10" mini apes on my Iron. It's a perfect riding position for me, I just want forward controls dang it!

Nice! I really dig the way they look. I just couldn't get over having my hands at chin level haha. I got a 2009 for what I thought was a fair price. If I could afford to buy new I'd get the Low Rider S.

2 feet?!?! Just started snowing here a little bit ago, I don't think it's going to stick though.

I think I have 3" or so, but I am estimating since I haven't been outside in a couple hours. Should be 5-7 total by morning.

Is that XM or regular FM radio? I haven't seen reversing radio in my father's '18 4Runner, but his will never update, since he doesn't have a phone connected to it.

Regular fm. I just noticed this little arrow and was like “what does that do?”

I am just curious, has your radio ever updated? If not, it seems like a neat feature to have (if you ever wanted to replay a song, etc).

Just drove out to Albany and back today. Started snowing right when I got to canjo so the whole ride home was snow. Stopped for reins though.

I am reminded of why I view Springfield in the way that I do.
