What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I'm hoping the sunroof version will work on an access cab. I'm willing to try. @MESO ?

 

You have a pic of access cab roof?

 

Did you replace the one you stripped or just leave it out?

 

It doesn't have grab handles but there are covered bolts

Finally got around to installing my skid plate, sequential headlight, and Baja Design fog lights .

 

Looks great on the bronze Did the same to mine.

 

Received my rear extended 5100s along with my Headstrong AAL. I have an install appt set for the first week of March, can’t wait! Also received and mounted my XBull recovery boards to my rci bed rack. Had to drill some holes to make them mount how I wanted them to.

 

I replaced it with some bolts I picked up at Home Depot. I actually replaced two.

Are those the 3 leaf pack? I just got the 3 leaf pack from Headstrong Off-road and OME 886’s for the front. The front Billstein 5100’s are a couple of weeks out. Can’t wait to get the lift done. Next is gonna be sliders and skids.

 

Yea it’s the progressive 3 leaf aal from Headstrong.

 

Had them on my ‘17 AC with the overload in because of the weight of the shell. Without the extra weight and the overload leafs it should ride really nice.

 

@MESO This isn't my vehicle, but it shows the dome light and the hooks at the back, plus the rectangular bolt cover over the access door. From your website, it looks like you're securing the sunroof HexRack to the dome and with the hooks at the back. If the dimensions are close, it could work.



Mine has a cargo net attached to the hooks and the edge of the headliner, so it's a pretty bad picture for your purposes.

I have a bed rack with a rtt and some other gear so I’m waiting to see how much sag it fits before I add the 1/2” shim. I’m also planning on purchasing the Eibach Coilovers 2.0 in April for the front to replace my front 5100s so I guess I’ll just be able to adjust the front to account for the sag.

 

I’ve been running 265/70/17 w/ stock suspension for 2 years and no rubs. You will not have a problem.

Well, its time to bid you all farewell. Thank you all for the helpful information and great conversations. My plans in the future include a toy hauler and as most of you know the Taco has a small tow limit. So I traded in my Taco (29k, not bad) and upgraded to big brother Pro, time to sign up for the Tundra forums!!!

 

Very nice but why not wait for the new Tundra?
