hey ive found a new noise after my last wheeling trip if anybody knows what it could be that would help alot. when driving and hitting small or large bumps i get a light squeak. i dont beleive its suspension because the noise is coming from the middle of the truck. when going front drive to reverse it also makes the same noise. when i shake the truck hard it doesnt make the nooise just when going in and out of gear itll make the noise. when driving if i accelerate fairly hard then let off it also makes the noise hope that makes sense. thanks for your help, i figured id just type this question before laying under the truck a have someone switch from reverse to drive with me under it. its cold as a mofo at the moment and i dont feel like freezing my tail off if you guys might have the answer lol

The small squeak is probably leaf spring bushings. Not sure about the "Hmmmmm"

Ha, makes sense. I still think it may be a leaf spring bushing. Under torque leaf springs will shift a bit. I have a leaf spring bushing that squeaks sometimes but it seems to go away when it gets wet. Maybe try to spray the bushings with a hose then drive your truck to see if the sound disappears. That will at least let you know what it is...maybe.

I had one that drove me nuts. Thought it was coming from the front somewhere. Looked everywhere then stumbled on a tutorial on the subject. Come to find out the noise was coming from front hood latch, The round part on the hood that gets engaged with the stationary latch squeaks, you could witness the paint rubbing off of the loop itself. A small smear of any ol grease did the trick-Quiet as hell now and once again I am able to hear voices talking to me, something about a Russian lady named Helga.

Thanks for the ideas guys I'll try the hood latch and the leaf springs. I thought maybe u joints and carrier bearing but I replaced those and they aren't it either.
