You had me nervous, I thought this storm was going to be a lot worse than I thought!
It’s been just about a year since i’ve listened to the radio, neat feature though!

It pauses the FM radio automatically when you make a handsfree call. Can’t say it’s super useful.

Still snowing here in Hopkinton as well. We've probably got a good 4" right now. Now if only it wouldn't melt...

    I use it a lot.
When I'm listening to a live broadcast or podcast and have to get out for a minute I use it to pause that
and then use it to get by commercials.

I ended up with 2.25 inches of snow tonight.

Got out of the rental shop a little early and just finished cleaning up the snow, I'd say about 5 inches, and I wouldn't be shocked if one or two more show up in the next 24 hours.

COLD. That's what I'm seeing, -10 on Saturday morning. No snow though out this way. We got a couple more overnight/right now and I think we'll end up with 7-8 total. But the weekend looks cold and clear.

News today said might be another southern runner. I need snow up north god dammit! Maybe my sled will be able to come south though and I'll be riding locally. It would be a shocker.

Got about 3 or 4 inches here in Henniker.

I think I'm around 6" right now but it's still snowing at a halfway decent pace.

I'm also starting to go through wood pellets more quickly but I still have a ton and a half so it may work out perfectly.

About 3" here last night. Started around 7 and just kept steadily flurry-ing all night long.
Fingers crossed for some depth from next week's storm. Gotta get some snow on the ground for our winter camping/wabbit hunting trip in a couple of weeks.
yeah, something like 10" inches of rain to 100 inches of snow, depending on where you are in the state. I'd take the snow, but 10" of rain is just an application of liquid disaster.

You'd want 100 inches of snow all at one time? IDK about that! In 2 or 3 storms yeah sure but not all at once.

    @DoubleRGirl what's your opinion? Hahaha

I looked at the weather couple days ago, yesterday starts it and then there's about 2 weeks of snow here and there. 2-3 inches constantly.

Yeah we're at probably 3-4" in East Providence. I didn't shovel this morning, brushed off the windshield and drove to work. I'll clear snow after work tonight.

Hell yeah! I'd LOVE a storm that dropped 100 inches; even if it was spread out over like 3 days that'd be f*cking epic!

Besides, at this point it's the only way we'd be able to salvage the season for any of the people who rely on snow for their income.

On a weird plus side, the people who rely on snow for their income are (a) plow drivers (who are usually landscapers in the summer too) and (b) snow themed stuff, like ski slopes and whatnot. They're restricted to high hell anyway, so in a weird blessing in disguise, if it IS this year that gets shafted for the snow, it's good that it's this year. If it was next year when everything's open again, but there's no snow....that would probably kill a few businesses.

Doesn't do the plow guys any good, no matter what year it is. No snow is no income, unless they're catering to commercial and they've got up-front contracts. :notsure:

And up North there's places (hotels, restaurants, etc) that are off of the beaten path during the summer but get a lot of traffic from the snowmobilers during the winter.

True - but at least a lot of the plow guys I know don't depend only on the snow, they landscape or GC in the summers or something.

Still shitty. Hope this year can be salvaged up there and it gets better next year. Not sure how last year was up there but down here we had f-all for snow. And on a relative scale, this year looks like it'll probably be similar in my technical levels of snow measuring:

    f-all
    Normal amount
    f-ton
