I’m curious about this bumper you keep mentioning, all the flat beds I see just have the back panel with the lights and a receiver.

Does Kansas have a height law or something?

Missouri does, max 29 inches for my gvwr. I don't think it's strongly enforced. But I would like something on the back strong enough to pull on, and a hitch.

Also that 48 lbs is the oem bumper.

    Nice! Beautiful photos.

Did you have the place to yourself? And how were the springs (did you go in)? Those have always been a bit on the cool end for us...

Mine fit nothing like this. Now I don't have the tab/hook in my carpet anymore, but I have large gaps all the way around mine. Annoys the hell out of me. I'll have to take a pic and post it for comparison.

Drove it to a couple places over the last few days... Not much snow on the Sierras until Monday. Nice and cold though at night!

Interior looks good with the upgrades, now you need some brown Weathertechs to match...

Did the Ultimate Headlight Upgrade to solve my "RFI from the LED Headlights" issue. Color temp is much better as well; I love the result.

Even when it was raining it was pretty neat. How'd you like to be there for snow, that's gotta be a rare occurrence.

thanks, i wasn't sure if it involved taking the alt apart or if it's an easily serviceable part. Does look pretty straight forward. How do you know when to replace it? when your alt dies? Would it be smart to replace preventatively at 196k miles? I remember reading about your radiator mishap, that sucked!

    good tip, thanks!
