Anyone have any good ideas on a what a good place could be to get tent fabric sewn or does anyone know a good seamster? Portland/Vancouver area preferred but I’d go a bit. Going to be building a wedge with rip cords directions but don’t want to fux up the tent portion and seeing if it would be worth it to outsource that portion

Many years ago in a previous career, I would take the canvas portion of airport jetways here https://www.waagmeester.com/

At the time, they were located in the Alberta district in NE Portland and were easy to work with. I would give them a call.

These folks do apparel and tent repair. I had a jacket repaired once. Maybe they would take up a wedge tent project.

They haven’t locked down the discount details yet. It Probably depends on how many people sign up. I did some digging in old RCI group buys and they were typically 15-20% off.

Once it closes they’ll send out discount codes and you just order on the RCI site.

I love my aluminum RCI front and mid skids. I’m gonna pick up a transfer case skid in the GB to finish up my set.

Since I'm selling my Habitat, I'm parting out my house electrical as well.

All items purchased around June 2018. The 12th, to be exact, for the batteries.

2x Optima D27M. $400 takes both. Or $225 each. Always kept charged and maintained via the Noco Gen 2 20 amp charger that was permanently connected (10 amps per battery, always separated via battery combiner switch when not in use).

Noco gen2 20 amp charger $150. Waterproof, and was mounted in the wooden box under my Habitat since install.

Blue Sea Dual Battery switch (4 way switch: off, battery 1, battery 2, battery 1+2) $35.

$550 for batteries, charger, and switch. I'm in Kent.

I might have a bluesea voltage meter, too. Just no picture yet... Probably another $35 for that! I had it hooked to switch so I could check each battery's voltage seperately, or combined.

Mine. I have a 3rd gen OEM tow hitch/receiver if anyone is interested. Also have most of the rear bumper components, if anyone needs those.

Put a sign on it that says $100... some piece of shit will steal it and then it's their problem.

My boss did this with a shitty old truck canopy and a free sign. Had been sitting for months at the end of her semi-rural driveway. Someone suggested this. It was gone the first night with the $100 sign.

We upgraded our refrigerator. I put it up on the local FB buy and sell for free. Nobody wanted it. Month later put it up for $50 and it was gone in 2hrs. People are funny about free.

Did the same with a bunch of bushes we were digging up. I didn't want to haul to dump, so I put them up for free. Wife posted for $$$ and we had a steady stream of folks.

I’ll take that hitch/receiver. I’ll convert it into a front receiver. Coming down to Salem Oregon any time soon?
