The guy that bought my 1st gen had put a Chinook onto a 1st gen Tundra extended cab... Pretty sweet vehicle.
    Pretty much this:

You got your Tacoma from Oleg? He ran into healt issues before finishing it and sold it to someone in New Mexico or Southern Colorado. Seen them post about it on Expo, can't remember their name. Chinooks are very spendy and low on room.

Nah, I sold my 1st gen to the guy that has a Tundra like the one I posted, but not that one. He's a Toyota guy near Los Alamos, more LC stuff though. My rust free, California 1st gen was very appealing to him.
Agreed on the Chinook being low on room, but more than my current camper that you saw.
After owning a new Flippac for 6 months and constantly stressing about it ripping itself apart, I just don't like campers made like boats anymore (fiberglass, wood, mild steel).

I mean, I've jumped my boat and it hasn't broken.

Summary is that I didn't want to put in the effort and stress to "maintain" a Flippac to keep the design flaws from causing a failure.

Such a short boat ramp. That would really help a lot of Colorado boaters. Between the guys who can't back a trailer the 20 yards down the ramp and the 2wds that get stuck on the algae, the boat ramps at Chatfield are fun to watch.

    2nd gen owners:

What's your solution to keep from being blinded by light reflecting off the part of the hood/upper fenders near the windshield? I must frequently drive southbound during the worst daylight hours that I am constantly blinded.

I don't want something permanent or that looks like shit.

I've never noticed this. Now I'm sure I will always notice, and will need a solution haha
