It would be disappointing if we did not get to make any contributions to the installation. Drill is perfect LOE. Pretty tough to botch that.

What size hole is needed? Just want to make sure my step bit it's big enough.

Most hitch pins are 5/8” or 1/2” in diameter

We are like... CLOSE CLOSE now kids. S1 production is delayed pretty bad, but I did get my hands on some so we can at least get this party started!

Any chance you can post a pic showing how much “meat” there is behind the hole that needs to be drilled and thickness of plastic at that point. Or just post those dimensions. My concern is how easy is it to pull / rip it out?

I can let Stew post specs, but I can tell you I couldn’t rip it out without tools. Couldn’t get a good enough grip on it! Not any easier to steal than any other accessory, but I certainly understand the concern.

Thanks, that does help a lot. Not concerned with a thief with a few tools, but I am about an “opportunistic thief” walking passed in a parking lot thinking “I’ll have that”.

Nah. I have to sit there and fiddle with it to get it out with no tools or pin in it

Maybe I skipped over it, but is there an estimate on unit cost w/o a plug and play harness? Also, will there be a website or link to order from? looks great guys and thank you for providing us with so many creative products. Because this isn’t necessarily Tacoma specific I think there will be a huge market out there for this.

I’ll have pricing finalized to share probably next week.

The receiver slug will be available directly from MESO or if you buy a combo (slug and S1) from their site or mine I’ll be fulfilling that order. The plug-and-play harness will be exclusively through me for now anyway. Full detail dump very soon!

Looks like the BD S1 has a few available light patterns. Will there be the option to pick the light that suits our needs best?
    Thanks again!!!

Yup. Wide Cornering in white is my far and away recommendation, but you’ll be able to choose between White or Yellow Wide Cornering or a white Work/Scene. Won’t offer this in the spot pattern directly.
