Axelboy are a Jeep shop, makes sense why they would recommend jeep shocks.

Quite a few of us in the STL Taco crowd run Old Man Emu. Good price for a budget friendly, yet tough suspension. You won't win the Dakar rally with this stuff, but you won't break the bank putting it on your truck, either.

Looking at OME, looks like you have really only 2 choices for lifts. One for around $1500 and the other around $3400. And so your opinion is the $1500 would be a good choice. Thx

Is your battery terminal connector always connected to your battery? I assume so but I would be worried that it would short out. I don’t know if there is a protector in it or what? Just thought of it seeing it with the snow here.

The $1500 kit is rock solid, it's what a lot of us run. Nets you around 2 inches of lift (no UCA's required) and you have options for spring rates, depending on how much equipment you carry.

@HeadStrong Off-Road have phenomenal customer service and will answer any and all questions you could ever possibly have.

Thanks for the info and will look into it. Now however, need to come up with figuring out installation. Someone told me previously, that no big deal. But videos look a bit out of my ability.

It's not inherently complicated, couple of jack stands and a good floor jack and a buddy who at least knows his right from his left will get you taken care of. Quite a few of us help each other out on various projects. If you figure out when you want to do it or when you get the stuff, drop a line in this thread and more than likely one or two of us will volunteer to help you.

It is protected, there is a safety cap fitted into the end of the Anderson plug to keep it protected from the elements.
