Any of you crazy SOB's buy my Tacoma?

Nice Raptor but I would rather have a 1st Gen V8. The V6 EB just doesn't seem right to me.

 

I think new raptor released next week

will have 3 options
Eco v6
5.4 v8 almost 700 hp
And electric

Other than sounding like a vacuum cleaner the gen 2 beats gen 1 in every way...but that Gen 1 does sound awesome.

That’s been rumored since 2017 when the 2nd Gen came out but I think it’s always been more of a pipe dream than anything founded on solid info.

I loved everything about my 2018 Raptor except for the quality. It was super fun to drive but had a lot of issues.

 

Yeah, i was gonna say. I heard a raptor with 3.5 TT and wasnt a huge fan of the sound. But like you said, performance wise it beats the v8.

 

Imagine the gas mileage of that bad boy?

 

Yeah especially if you keep your foot in it, wouldn't mind shoehorning one into my Mustang though!

Love those fox body mustangs, always wanted the 5.0 5spd, they sound sooo good. Those cobras are pretty sweet too.

 

I have had mine for almost 23 years, it is so much fun to drive.

 

@Mrtacoman88 You mentioning Cobra had just jarred my memory, l think Canada used that name for several years but in the US the Cobra was 1 year only in 1993.

Its so hard to find 5.0 fox body mustangs here. Most of them are totalled. People want a lot of money here for a solid fox body with a good 5.0.

 

Interesting. I know 4th gen mustangs came with cobra package here. I believe they were supercharged? I swear i saw some in the wild. They sound sooo gooood. Black cobra mustang is one of my dream cars, besides the 69 SS camaro.

 

Right the Cobra name did return on the newer ones too, the only Fox Cobra was 1993. But I think they used it frequently in Canada as a way to protect a Trademark or something.

I had a conversation with Bob, and he and the team agreed to reinstate my screen name. Bob is a pretty cool dude.

 

The 93 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra I would bang. It's almost a shame that so many fox bodies have become roached out. There's just something about a clean stocker with a few nice upgrades.

 

Even worse for me beside the lacking sound of the V6 is the fake engine noise they pump in to the cab.
