At the least, make him promise to never sell it. Top of my head over $1000 for one

I've been into since I was 12 when I got my first Haro, an FST.

That got stolen, I got it back. But already bought a Dayglow Yellow Kuwahara Magician EX with black GT mags.

Then I bought a Boss Pro freestyle frame which I never built up, sold it, regrettably.

Then I had a Redline race bike with Sugino 3 pc which I loved ripping on.

    Future Builds:
    -CW Dizz Hicks tribute
    -87 Kuwahara Bravo Pro

    Currently:
    Kuwahara Magician was restoed
29" SE Big Ripper Santa Cruz edition
    Haro Master 2017 in Yellow/Black/Pink
    GT Pantera
    Dyno Kustom Kruiser Beach cruiser

Old school, this bike might have started it all. Geared real low, would go through sugar sand with both tires the same size. I had one back in 1967.

That track has to be Snipes in Corona. Only track I remember that was down hill balls to the 1st turn.

Funny thing is my last Factory ride was with CW Racing. I absolutely hated their bars and would only race with them at the National races.
I probably snapped two or three sets out of the gate or on a jump. For my local races I always had Diamondback bars on my CW frame. :D

sorry to gravedig, but I still have and ride my 1988 Mongoose Californian Pro

my step-son got into BMX about 6 years ago, and it re-awakened my interest in riding again! We hit the skatepark on Sunday mornings a lot back then. I am looking to get a newer bike to throw around the park b/c the old Mongoose is in pretty good condition, and I don't want to ruin it.

    Cailipro2.jpg

this will become my neighborhood cruiser!

My first mongoose was a 1981 Supergoose that I saved up lawn mowing money for. Had it for 6 months, and it got stolen. I was crushed. I got another Mongoose Motomag and rode that until I started driving. Like an idiot, I sold that to a friend to help pay for the car (thinking that I would never ride again).

Found this like 3 months ago next to the dumpster by my place. Plans are to restore it. Took me back to my riding days.

yep...that was the one I had...to me, it is still a pinnacle bike...the one that got away.

It represented soooo much "cool" about the 70's and 80's

Very nice find, looks all there. Are those GT pegs on back?

I had a few of those, my Diamond Back Mike D Strike Zone still hurts..as do my Hutch Wind Styler and Schwinn Predator Freeform EX, though I've done a resto on another Predator and am collecting parts for a Hutch build.

Those pegs alone I see go for 40-50 all day.

I scored on my Predator, needed lots of work but all original except tires and grips..have a couple of pics in my album here

The one I found even has GT grips but in rough shape. My brother-in-law and I are going to restore it and see what it will go for. I’m hunting down the original grips, decals, and maybe the seat.

damn...I wish someone would leave an 81 Supergoose in near mint condition by a dumpster here!!!

and also a Mickey Mantle rookie card in NM condition as well!!

I have seen a few Supergeese come up on the Bay, but I never have an extra $3000 laying around...

    Bah pocket change hahah..

I've been lucky enough to not spend huge coin on my scores, but I wish I had that much to spend.
