    Yep.

I've been OVtuned since 2017 (we used to get our updates individually via email - fuuuuuuuck lol), and am happy to see access to the goodness widened such as it has :)

I've had both a pedal commander and now ovtune. Pedal commander just enhances throttle which is nice, but i found that it'd fuck with the accelerator ocassionally. Aka getting "stuck" and accelerating the truck even when my foot was off the gas. No Beuno and definitely not safe.

OVtune remaps your shift points and way more that i can't even explain. But as a user i'll tell you right now, when you gas it going on the freeway no longer does your truck hesitate and lag for a second then explode to 4000+ RPMS, it has nice clean and smooth shift points and frankly more power. Get the ovtune and skip the janky throttle tools

How does this work with any warranty work that needs done? I have a 2020 that I really only take in for the "required" maintenance, 5k, 10k, etc. Any risk of them wiping it during these times?

Dealers can't see it. If you're nervous about it ...... just flash back to stock before you go in. Easy - Peasy.

Good to hear, had a diablo tuner for my silverado. Do i get some kind of handheld that plugs in with one of these or do I have to get the cable to hook up to my laptop? Read about the benefits, not really about the process. Thanks for the help!

Impossible for them to "wipe it". They cant even see it. When they plug in into the OBD, all they see is your factory ECU id. Ov tune made it like that on purpose. I wouldnt worry about it.

While maybe worth it depending on opinion those products only change the relationship between the accel pedal and throttle (to put it simply). There is no power gain or anything as far as engine performance, just a more sensitive gad pedal. It is worth saying that this same thing can be done by tuning, to any custom preference.

Well, it isn't impossible for a dealer to OVERWRITE OVtune if they were to apply a TSB (flash upgrade of the ECM with a Toyota .cuw file).

Been thinking about the doing the OV tune and then saw the Pedal commander. Wasn't really sure, which would be better and yeah there are tons of threads and way to many to look through. I feel the consensus would be towards the OV tune, yet I've never pulled the trigger. Its prob also due the fact that WFH has really taken the need to driving away.

I would never install some cheap chinese "throttle controller" in my truck, just saying.

It might screw up the pedal input/voltage and that wont be so much fun. Getting someone to flash you for 125-225$ is way better IMO. Not only the tune enhances the throttle pedal, it really wakes up this 3.5 and improves general drivebility.
