Even in insane markets like this, I've never risked more than I could afford to lose. If GME goes to $0 tomorrow I'm no worse off relatively speaking than when I started. There will always be money to be made. The key is not to leverage yourself against any one of them.

Had I put my entire net worth into GME when I started, I'd be shopping private jets right now. Even in retrospect, I'm glad I didn't do it. Smart money continues to make money. Pigs get slaughtered.

 

BBBY was my free stock as well. Sold it around Christmas time for like $25 or so, which was nearly 5x the worth of when I got it free...

Exactly. I've been in and out a few times. All my original capitol is safely back in my account in cash. Every play I have open right now is a free money play. No YOLO for me but I'm still doing just fine so far. lol

I've been trading a pretty long time. I have never seen anything like this. When COVID hit I noticed a difference in how many people I know where asking me about stocks and trading compared to before. That was the first signal that people have figured out the "secret" game of managing your own money. This shit going on now though is just insane. If WSB can really convince people to hold it will be a miracle. More likely people will spook and run for the hills.

Time will tell.
