I did order from there at the recommendation of Seb. I was going to give a courtesy week before asking about when they would fill the order. Perhaps I will reach out today and see what's up.

No, I ordered them about a month or so ago than felt like passing for some unknown feeling. I think the KO2 is a touch tougher and a bit more dirt oriented maybe. We travel a lot and go very remote. Nothing overly tough, but definitely remote and I wanted the confidence of the KO2 when I have my Wife and four year old with me.

Well I got a response that they will be packaged tonight and shipped in AM. He was waiting for CV dust seals. I'm not holding my breath, but a response in less than 4 hours is encouraging.

I’ve been getting BFG AT’s for 19 years. Never failed me. Went to other types of tires and always went back. Learned my lesson and won’t stray away unless some crazy new rubber tire improvements are made.

@disconnected Im guessing you had to test out those KO2s. Are you lovin those new shoes and getting them tried and tested? Linn Run state forest has some nice snow packed roads to try those out. I just hit them up today. Perfect conditions to have lots of fun. Not much snow but more than enough to ski, sled, or wheel through. Can slide it around or have tons of traction depending on your driving style. 2w or 4w.

If anyone is up for a Winter camp we are going the weekend of February 20th for just 1 night. Meeting in Bridgeville than Morgantown and dissappearing into the national Forrest.

It’s only appropriate for a nice quick snow ride after a fresh storm. I’ll probably be by my lonesome but there is an open invite to join me. It’ll be a sunset cruise tonight in the Connellsville/Dunbar area. Nothing too crazy because the snow is pretty crunchy/icy. Will go up Hardy Hill/ Gettamy rd which is a pass which goes from Dunbar to Lemont Furnace.

Here’s some footage from my solo ride. It’s definitely a bonus being able to sneak away bybliving in this area. My wife doesn’t even know I did this:eek:The snow was 6-12” with 2-3’ snow drifts in some places.

I ran into an area that was a hilly sheet of solid ice. The video below is after I made it as far as I could make it up the icy slope, and had to abort the mission and put it in reverse gear to be able to concentrate on keeping the truck on the trail. I probably made it up to 17 or 18 mph sliding backwards.

So I’m a stickler of trying to use all my skill to try and get past an obstacle without moving to the next tool in my bag. I tried making new ruts and crawling off the icy trail to have on rear tire get a bite- nope. I tried the shear horsepower move- nope. I had no choice but to chain up here if I wanted to move on. I’ve gone on this road quite a bit, which is why I was comfortable on my own and proceeded to go farther. I knew where to go to hike out, but I don’t know anyone close by that could save me. But chains have never failed me, and I put them to the limit dragging my undercarriage. My truck frame became the plow. But I kept on moving.

    Before passing through:

    After passing through:
    88906B57-A14B-44B1-831E-A690283B27CE.jpg

Low and behold, after all of my determination, I came to the end which was blocked by some angry or ignorant person who put a plow heap right onto the road.

I met up with some other winter thrill seekers who came up on the other side of the heap in a side by side. We both knew it was hours of digging or just hit the road again. So, I had to back up for quite a bit and do it all over again. A 1 hour trip turned into 2 1/2 hours and some snowy gear. It was a a blast and there’s nothing better than hitting up a snowy mountain after a fresh storm.

We ended up sticking around 7Springs and spent most the day working on Dan’s platform bed for his truck. We did have a little recovery.

Who's being recovered here @disconnected and @DamnitDan412?! It looks like there is more to the story here. I would stomp the pedal to the metal and go for a ride!

Well, I went for a recon trip/ wheeling adventure last night on my way home from a client's. Take the paved road or take the back country road less travelled...hmmmm tough choice. Gettamy Road is all cleared and for the win now. I did about 90% of it like Bo Duke would in two wheel drive except the damn ABS always likes to ruin my fun. It took me maybe 12 minutes. I started from the top side and descended down the mountain... We just had another couple of inches fall, but its just about perfect for anyone who wants a little adventure but doesn't want to get too crazy. Then there are side trails off of the main road where you better have your recovery gear in order because it's some serious wheeling; that's only if you make it down the chutes. The 3rd Gen factory GPS lets you see what road to stay on because there are a couple of forks and twists that are hard to know where to go in the snow. For those who have 1st and 2nd gen's, just follow your gut and the majority of the tracks.

ya, that was Dan. He pulled off the road to turn around. Notice on the left side the tire tracks!
