    I know if I paid money for 2.0 for an auto transmission truck, I would be disappointed. The 2.0 betas were good, even 1.05 was good.
    People like "Performance" tunes. With Performance tunes, they don't care about mpg. Funny thing is, most performance tunes get better mpg than stock.

    Also, I usually tell them--If you don't feel a big difference when you leave, turn around and come back. No need for 100miles.

    I’ve had 4 out of 12 complain that their mileage went down after I told them in detail that mpg was no guarantee to go up or down, that is not the point of the tune. These are also people (from Facebook nonetheless) who “heard it was great” and knew nothing else about the tune, so I think their expectations were too high even though I specially tell them it’s not a night/day difference like you may think.

    personally 2.0 works great for me. Not so keen on flashing custom tunes on peoples trucks.

    a lot time mpg went down because the tune make they drive faster. When you step on the gas hard you will lose mpg.
    I just install Trd intake and exhaust l, the throttle response it awesome and of course my mpg is went down.

    I don't want to start a fight with Mat.
    2.0 is a "base" tune. When it was released, we already had 1.05 performance tunes and many 2.0 beta performance tunes and loved them. So when 2.0 came out, I thought it would be better. Well after driving around with every version of it on my truck, I went back to the beta tunes. I personally feel like I should "feel" a difference from stock when I flash a tune. I admit that 2.0 is better than stock. But there is no big smile on your face when you punch it. It just shifts better and the throttle is more like it should be from the factory.
    So if you just want a better running/driving truck, use 2.0. If you want more "performance", use a custom tune or wait for Mat's performance tune.
    That is why 2.0 is not worth the money to me.

    Not looking to start any drama for sure. I do appreciate your honest opinion, especially as I get more knowledge about this topic. Looking to get my tune in a few weeks, but just tying to fully understand all options available. I know 2.0 has stock and perf with several options within those two columns. My main goal is to improve the shift logic, but additional benefits would be valuable. With these threads being so massive, some info for less experienced folks is difficult or daunting to grasp. Can you outline, if possible, the difference between just stock and perf 2.0 tunes that are base tunes? This doesn't have to be highly technical, i don't want to take up much of your time. Just exploring what possible improvements one over the other are possible.

    And again thanks for your input.

    The only Performance 2.0 files that I have are Betas. And they are P5f files not vft files.
    There are currently NO Performance 2.0 tunes made by Mat.
