@Arcticelf in response to your earlier comment about the shocks being overpriced, I’ve come up with a term for guys selling shocks for more than they are new like this guy that first posted them as 3.0’s (probably misunderstanding the 3.0 printed on the spring) for $3200 and now 2.5’s for $2600. I present to you, the “shock broker”

    I like it.

I'm also glad I bought new shocks for my LT project way ahead of need last May...

Depends what you get. Also the big retailers kinda screw everyone over because their stock comes first

So basically 5 and a half months now? Up from 3 and a half months? Weeks sound better than months I guess, unless it's two dozen. I guess I might as well finance my DK bypasses, plenty of time now. All the broken shit at KOH probably added the additional time.

I hope not. Downsouth quoted me 3-5 days for a standard rebuild/revalve. Im shipping my front and rear shocks out next week

Downsouth probably has a good bit of parts on hand for rebuilds. I rebuilt my OEM spec Kings a year and half ago. Needed 2 new shafts and ends for the rears with the AWD of my 4Runner kicking debris up all the time, they were pitted up pretty bad. It took several weeks for those parts and rebuild kit to ship from Filthy. I have some pro comp boots zip tied on them now. But KOH looks like it destroys everything, so there are probably standing orders from the top teams after that one. Hopefully your rebuild is done quickly.
In the mean time, if anyone has any triples that will work for my +3.5 DK lmk.

Parts aren’t in short supply - you can walk into king and buy any standard part you want but it’s the labor in building the shocks that delays production. I’ve walked around the factory and it’s small so I imagine COVID regulations are affecting their normal work flow.
