All correct. GME is gonna jump hard tomorrow. The Gamma squeeze may set of the mother of all short squeezes or it may not.

I do not recommend limits as your exit strategy. I would address that manually. If you do use a limit, make that fucker as high as you can tolerate.

For those who felt good getting in at $320, try getting in tomorrow at $250!

    Some juicy stuff I found:

“Currently, GME has 97,098 calls expiring tomorrow, that are currently ITM. That is 9,709,800 shares that need to be bought, by the sellers (usually MM), by the end of the day.

Todays entire volume was just 57M, mostly retail.

At 500/share this becomes 11 million shares. Theres absolutely no way they cover all that. That is over 2 billion dollars worth of buying, at 230/share

Rumor has it that at $600, Melvin goes tits up and get a margin call. Meaning they liquidate, and buy back their short.”

So the current drop to 190 whatever is fine, options are all in money and it has nowhere to go but run up?

So Melvin goes tits up, among other short institutions..then how can the stock to to 5G if there’s no money to buy them because they all are filing for bankruptcy

or do they legally have to liquidate their long portfolio to cover the cost of all this

I should know this stuff, dumb questions. Just thinking worst case

Share price over 400 **doubles** the number of calls in the money. If this thing pushes back up by EOD tomorrow, it's going parabolic and that's before the actual short squeeze even starts.

I'm telling you this will go down in history as the first ever spite spike. It's going to be part of economics curriculum. A new level of investor sentiment...

If hedge fund cant cover, broker is on the hook. This is why brokers can margin call.

If broker can't cover, the bank is on the hook.

If this thing gets into the thousands, which it might if tomorrows gamma squeeze triggers the short squeeze, there is legitimate systemic risk. You could see the whole market drop substantially as various funds liquidate whatever the hell they can to try to outbid each other.

It is possible. I think 1-2k is much more realistic, but if tomorrows gamma squeeze triggers a margin call cascade on the shorts you'll have like 140 million bids going after less than 70 million shares (not everyone will sell) with a *legal requirement* to buy them by end of regular trading. Who the fuck knows where that goes.

Edit: AND THIS IS ONLY THE SHORTS AND EXPIRING CALLS. Regular market activity will also presumably be in the mix. More bids, but the number of shares stays the same.
