I was wondering the same thing, I believe you can tell if they are permabanned by clicking their profile and it will just say error

I agree with @crashnburn80's comments. Unless there was a perma-ban, I think it's premature to spin-up alternate means of continuing this dialogue. IMO, a temp-ban is no different than someone being out of touch while on vacation. Archiving a summary of accumulated tips/tricks always makes sense so, hats-off to those who've done so. Obviously, we're all free to communicate with each other via other means (different forums, email, FB, IG, Discord, etc), as each of us deems appropriate. In the absence of a perma-ban, however, I suggest pulling the primary discussion back here rather than splintering into separate mechanisms/threads.

Thanks to this thread. Finally boosted and running. I had my family mechanic replace the slipping transmission and install a heavy duty torque converter. Hope it was a move in the right direction. Still have ratiotek, deep pan, and soon (if it fits) roost's Ypipe will fit in the equation.

Agreed! Not sure exactly what was said/done but, given the "sensitivities" found nearly everywhere, it probably was an over-reaction. Snowflakes.

 

Greetings! I have been lurking this amazing thread for some time now. My plan is to join the boost team hopefully within a year, or two. Until then I would to to do as many upgrades as possible while still being able to maintain a safe operating NA vehicle. I have purchased a couple of items that I can install now, ie oil filler neck mod, if I'm lucky enough to land a JRF Y-pipe, I'll put on some URD long tubes at the same time. If there are any other thing I can do now until I'm boosted I'd greatly appreciate any input! Thanks in advance!

NST ltw aluminum pullies? The water pump, alternator, crank and lower blower pulley. Just attach the supercharger belt when you're ready.

 

welcome man! my advice is know what you want out of your truck, read, and ask questions. i have only met helpful, friendly people here with similar goals.

I just tell myself I get to enjoy it every day. And I do.

 

I'm not too concerned myself. It really makes me shack my head when people complain about gas mileage on their vehicle. There are vehicles specifically made for great MPG lol. If I have the doll hairs to spend I will, if don't, then I won't. Makes sense lol

 

if i paid mine off... yep.
