I agree it’s a unique color and depending on what you’re trying to accent, I think certain blue and yellow tones compliment lunar rock well.

IMHO, satin black and red--in some very limited (small) amounts.

I wasn’t specifically thinking wheels, though on that topic I honestly think any of the common choices would work well on LR- gun metal, bronze, gold, black , etc... The Rays color you’re referring to I think is called Mag Blue? That would be pretty slick if you were trying to be flashy. Really what I was thinking about was an accent color that for random things like recover traction boards, maybe a mountain tailgate or roof cargo cases? I was also considering interior pieces to replace the chrome accents.

You might be onto something sir, I was initially thinking orange or yellow might work. I’m not planning on going overboard with this, just a little consistency throughout small touches on the vehicle.

Yeah, I tend to think you’re right on this. Especially since there are already black/red accents with the Pro

Interesting how experiences differ. Had mine for 4 months now and not 1 compliment. Not that I was expecting them...

Haha! It’s been a while since I’ve seen a color wheel busted out( I’m a former art major). That is a good point though. And yes red is the complimentary color to green, though as I stated earlier lunar rock falls into that strange in between color that doesn’t quite fit evenly into one category. Do you treat is as green? Blue? Grey? I think the answer might be that you really can’t go wrong with whatever color chosen.

I've noticed the retro Toyota yellow, orange, red looks good. I think because LR is very cool, so it looks nice with the warm colors.

It also looks really nice with tan and black. (milspec).

I can't imagine it'd pair well with blue.

Seen a few LR Rav4 & Taco's drive around town, I do like the color but I feel as time goes by it will lose its wow factor. Just like Cement, Sand after a year or two its just another color in the rainbow.

Agreed but for now the LR folk will just have to bask in the glow while they can :D. But such phenomenon happens to all things... I can still remember the first time I saw a Pontiac Aztek and thought "wtf?". All different things look strange at first until repeated exposure starts to hide it from our radar

Yeah... eventually no one will like this color either...
'cause once you see it 10 times, it seems like you've seen it... errr... 10 times... :help:

Here is another Bike in 'LR'. The Commencal 'Meta' was one of my runners-up...
    oh dear.

Note the yellow accents as someone pointe out before as suiting the LR. - And black for contrast of course.

Not my truck, but those are Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws - Very good tire, but pretty heavy, even the SL rated is portly.

@R4D4G4ST Where did you get the skewp lights? Did you have to do much modifying of the insert to mount them?
