pioneer 7600...Crutchfield said it wouldn’t work...realized it was cause there’s no supporting the head unit...just crammed some foam m zipped tied it so it wouldn’t bounce around

Installed a used Amp bed extender. Got it for free from CL guy who was selling it for $50.00 but change his mind. Just have to buy me a mounting bracket from Amazon.A90BE4C7-9E80-498D-835E-324B94806F78.jpg

Finally got my used, new to me, (and freshly fully rebuilt) Kings into the truck. 1 night in so far. Truck rides amazing.
8 years on the Toytec Boss kit (went through 2 sets) before finding these gems.
I got them totally destroyed, and 100% corroded.
KRAVE in Calgary rebuilt them, I used naval jelly and steel wool to get them as close to new as possible.
2 pics of them in the shop is before rebuild and clean, the pics against the truck are after I got them back from Krave and put 5 hours into hand scrubbing to clean them up.20210128_152550-01.jpg 20210127_181319-01.jpg jesse7.jpg jesse1-1.jpg 20201125_145624.jpg 20201125_151324.jpg

Dang that looks way better than the OEM one! Seems roomier in the middle as well

Thats a cool rig, did you powdercoat/paint your LCAs? Looks pretty sweet

    holy shit that's impressive
I wonder what good price you got them for
and if there's any way to guarantee the inside is good
I've seen posts on ADS's instagram of them taking apart malfunctioning shocks that look all fucked up inside

me personally I might even have just scuffed up the surface quickly and sprayed a different color paint
that it way it looks new, prevents corrosion, and on top of that, is not noticeably King.
So that people don't steal it.
But such things only seem prevalent in parts of California like Inland Empire.
    Been thinking of getting one
supposedly Amp Research extender is the only extender on the market that can fit/work with bed stiffeners
    which many people have
    and should have

I got them for 600 canadian used. A little bit more than I should have paid, as they were more beaten than the seller listed, but I still saved over 1500 Canadian vs getting the same ones (no compression adjusters) new.
Ryan at Krave tore them right down and did a full rebuild inside / out.

Yeah went to the warehouse at my work, layed out card board for drips, and wrapped all other components in plastic. Rattle canned with engine / high heat paint.
I've done it before. Cheap way to spruce up the OEM LCAs until I can afford camburgs to match my uppers or others. Ill probably still paint them tho I like to princess my pig up before rough housing it.

I used to rock red with the old toytec boss kit with their red (eibach? Coils)

Don’t use parts from Detroit Axle. The parts and their customer service suck!

A couple days ago I repaired the bent and slightly twisted crossmember from the traction bar. I used a old drop hitch for the material and welded the crap out of it. The crossmember was bent down so it was either reverse or the brakes that bent it, my money is that braking bent it probably when the truck was towing a boat.

I couldn't get a decent picture showing all of what was going on with the crossmember.
    20210127_081503.jpg
Straightened and cleaned up and ready to weld.
    20210127_084325.jpg
    Repaired.
    20210127_114044.jpg
With my rear shocks being too short for the application this is about as flexed as it gets for now.
    20210128_132249.jpg
Finally in this one I'm making sure that the traction bar is properly turning with the rear axles articulation, it is.
