It sure was. My wife said it was her favorite, to date.

It was a low-carb gravy, so basically I replaced the wheat flour with almond flour. I had to use about 1/3 to 1/2 more volume of almond flour compared to normal flour.

It's a good option for gluten allergies or diabetics eating low-carb.

ETA: biscuits aren't low-carb lol. There are recipes for low-carb biscuits out there. I'm not ready to experiment with biscuit recipes. :anonymous:

Nope, sadly. I have a new production Lodge (with the sauce), vintage Lodge (in the background) and a vintage Wagner griddle.

Actually I meant to type "griddle". Still cool. I have a vintage Wagner pan and vintage Griswold griddle.

Anyone seen a BALTO #12 dutch oven?
I'm looking for an other one. Mine is still used and has a bit of a leak in it. It isn't cracked its just super thin and I can not load it heavy any longer. I had to go to a griz and a lodge and they arent my BALTO.

One pan I have not pictured is a frying pan No. 8-B(7) 10 1/4, Made in USA, which believe by the marks is a BSR - Birmingham Stove and Range. Needs some clean up and seasoning, but this mongrel is very thick and heavy compared to my Wagner.

I know my BALTO is between 1835 and 1860 it has both gate marked and bale hangers as i call them are the number 7 shapes. This tell features put it in that time frame. I'll get out out in the morning and post some pics.

Not that knowledgeable. If the manufacturer's legible I can probably figure out a rough vintage but that'd be about it. :notsure:
