I now want to head over to Meatski’s and pickup a giant steak and throw it on a grill over a open fire!

I typically will preheat the cast in the oven and cook until internal temp of 125. Then I take another separate stainless skillet and get that piping hot. I then throw in 2-3 tablespoons of butter. Three cloves of smashed garlic and a sprig of rosemary. I then sear the steak for 30 or so seconds on each side (until there is a good crust) and I baste with the garlic butter. Let the sucker rest for 7 minutes and enjoy perfect happiness.

I was plowing their yard when the trucks came in, wrecker driver said both were running north when the lead truck started to lose it and not sure if the second one tryed to pass or just ran into the first that jack knifed ripping the cab off the second truck.

That sounds pretty similar to Sous Vide, which in my opinion, is the best way to perfectly cook a steak.

I got the wheels and tires! I decided to put them on for a few days just to get a feel for them. I think I like them. It's weird after having the fake beadlocks for so long.

    Now THAT is hilarious!

I am certainly curious how my mileage will be. They're a pinch taller and heavier than the Toyos. It still feels peppy enough.

Did your 4Runner start to feel faster after being broken in? Only reason I ask is because I test drove a brand new 4Runner and it felt noticeably slower than my second gen Tacoma which I thought odd.

I can't say for sure, but my 4runner would smoke my '15 Taco. Even with the extra weight and bigger tires, it scoots just fine for me. The Tacoma wasn't bad, either. But, you definitely notice the extra horsepower in the higher RPM's

Hmm. Maybe I drove a bum 4runner. Yours is looking pretty damn nice. I know you said you were thinking about suspension, any other mods planned?

You have to really put the pedal down to get it to go. The throttle response seems intentionally tuned to make you drive slow.

Yes, suspension next year... Maybe... :)
At this point I just want to get my money's worth out of what I have already done. I want to get my sleeping platform and recovery gear situated better, and build my roof rack. And, maybe install the ladder that's sitting in my garage. o_O
