Yes sir. Had some "cash" back from when I purchased the bike. Figured I didn't need a couple hundred bucks worth of HD shirts....so I bought the HD Chizeled bars. Never done a bar swap....but I am YouTube certified. :anonymous:

It’s not hard. When I had my sporty I put Biltwell Keystone bars on it and luckily the cables were all just long enough. On the street bob I extended everything but the clutch cable. I actually did a lot of wiring to this bike.

It was easy on the sporty because everything was run externally. I ran all the cables internally on the street bob through Roland Sands 12” mini apes. It doesn’t help that they weren’t meant to fit internally wired or TBW and I had to ream out the bar’s ID so the wires and throttle tube would fit. A lot of work to have sportster bars on my softail and damn near nobody is even going to notice.

I dig it. The crash bar around the front with the lights makes for an nice look.

Kinda seems like it. I personally will be looking at the Honda 300 Rally here in the spring. But if I see a really good 250 Rally go up for sale I won't fret over saving some coin and 50cc

I am the least mechanically inclined rider on this thread (@fatfurious2 can attest to that), and I have managed to swap my bars 3 times, internally wiring them twice. You can definitely do it. Just take your time.

Don’t let anyone fool you. Swapping bars for someone who’s never done it, or isn’t mechanically inclined....

    is a challenge.

I’ve asked tons of people who’ve done it... a very few have said it’s simple.

The biggest factor is the size of your bars and what style. .( do you need cable extensions for front / clutch .... or wiring extensions for your lights and blinkers ).

All of it takes time and patience. But you CAN do it. I did mine. Actually pretty well...

once you do it once you’ll understand if you ever do it again.

Easiest route is if you go with a 6 inch riser. From like ThrashinSupply And some straight bars. . Then that’s pretty simple as far as time goes.

motul :notsure: or amsoil, or ate ... prob cant go wrong with any of those, unless you really cooking fluid on the track

ive used ate before in my car, but for the bike i basically blindly buy all motul...

amsoil though always seemed like the american brand :oldglory:

Just a quick scoot today. Got the girl inspected and tags paid up.

Go figure the first sunny day I’ve been off in a while and it’s 45 out. That’s cold by SE Texas standards!!
